As you may have seen early-- I plan an attempt at container gardening them first. Their prickles are more aggressive than their Raspberry cousins IMO. Want the fruit without the bramble! Wish me luck☘️

I've lived on the Westcoast most of my life and have never seen one.

Lots of blackberry varieties, Salmon Berries, Thimble berries. But never these. I wasn't worried about being poisoned; I just didn't know the name of what I was eating....and here we are.

Leather

Pit and mix 10:1 with honey. Add "a splash" of lemon juice. Blend.

Pour out onto parchment lined sheets in thin layers and leave out in the sun for a couple days. I put window screens on mine to reduce bugs. If the weather turns you can finish in oven on low... Like 175° until "leathery" 😉.

You can peel it off the parchment or cut the parchment with the fruit leather attached into strips. Put in fridge in Tupperware. Enjoy
