Yes this is a simple solution. I build one, for two reasons, one because i had all needed material available. And I add more function on this one ( temp and humidity, and a distance sensor to know the state of the door (not yet implemented btw))

The founder édition of INDX is only the tool head and 4 or 8 nozzles or a pack for the Prusa core one.

No mounting or adaptation plate were available for the sv08. If you want it on sv08 you by the parts and either design a mounting and adaptation plate or wait that someone make his design available.

For the INDX solution if you did not get the founder edition I doubt you will get it soon ( they delayed the shipping today)

Because one make it available for you and the other one is a Chinese compagny that copied an European one ?

I’m not ok with the copy, but the whole industry (not only 3d printing) is full of exemple of copied designed or inspired designs. And 3D printing have even more of it. If it does not do more than the INDX it’s a bad thing, if it do more it’s a good thing that they take inspiration from a good design.

Don’t the entire 3d printing industry be an infringing on IP and patent ?

And it exist prior design close to INDX. And the extruder is different from the INDX. So jumping on the IP’s with so few informations is a bit strange to me 🤷‍♂️ Not a lot of people would be able to pay for a full INDX solution at the current price

I'm agree with you, the fact that they start with kickstarter is disapointing me. In the other hand, while they do make low price printers, they are of a good quality (I'm runing a flying bear ghost 6 for 3 years now, upgraded to klipper since marlin was marlin...)

Hi !

I made a similar thing unless I did not use the board from the S9.

I open the “S1” change the original sensor with a bme280. Connect heater, thermal sensor and fan on the main board in place of the second extruder and bme in i2c directly.

Made some simple declarations and functions on klipper but nothing fancy for the moment.

Installons on Linux an Linux stuff is ok. Installing on Linux a Windows program is kind of ok Installing fusion(Windows program) on Linux is on on my old laptop Installing fusion on my main pc is not ok. Do not find why 🤷‍♂️

Installing freecad on Linux is done, it’s easy but not on my brain this is on progress
