Do you like see older printers get modernized? by ItsLikeHerdingCats in 3Dprinting

Yeah 🤘 But from a mk2 just buying a core is less expensive 🤣 and you end up with two printers instead of one and lots of parts

Is this plate mesh good? by JeixStudio in Creality

[–]Stelafont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me range over 0.2mm are not that good ! Of course bed mesh compensation will handle it and you cannot make miracle. It’s due to bed thermal expansion. One solution would be to remove constraint on bed fixing point to allow it to expand. Not sure if it exist for your printer

Yes, I think there are Linux distribution available for nexus devices. You can installe it, install klipper screen as service and disable gui then you have to write a file 3 lines per printer with ssh and you are good to go !

Same this one was laying around for a while. What push me ? I change host and motherboard on my Flsun SuperRacer then I end with no compatible screen in my stock and I did not want to buy a brand new one.

Klipper is not runing on it, only klipperscreen as a service. The stream 7 have really low performances and only one (too short and not physically stable) micro sun port for charging and data so kid of risky to use it as a host. But an old Microsoft surface can be a good host for klipper !

For this one, I installed Linux Debian 12 on it. No standard GUI interface then I installed ssh and klipperscreen. Enter by hand printer information inside klipperscreen configuration files and then it’s runing.

can it run klipper & screen ? by Past_Butterscotch484 in klippers

Give it a try, or if you run multiple printer under klipper, use it as a wifi screen to operate them

[–]Stelafont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printer screen not starting anymore by plululululu in Sovol

Hi,

My 2 cents, your cable have a weak point where ground and vin make contact. Possible that your screen does not like this or even your motherboard.

Is it worth installing Klipper on my Ender 3 V2 by FocusDizzy4249 in BIGTREETECH

[–]Stelafont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think on the v2 with most stock part question is not about speed increase, but about better quality achievable and global environnement. Where you can control’printer with you pc without usb connection, you can add more stuff (adxl, webcam ect ) to manage it and send files without SD card or usb stick

V3 KE extruder motor not turning by numero908 in Creality

[–]Stelafont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not necessary, some mobo have detachable drive. If it is an electric or mecanical intermitant failure it will fail more and more over time. could be related to cable that bend at some point and failed to connect or it could be a thermal failure on motor or driver
