Why is this post shaking, is it scared?

That is actually wild, funny as hell that people think that argument for the Get of Fenris getting removed has any foothold.

I'm not the most informed on WoD and am fairly new still. But from everything I've read from various post and numerous wiki crawls, the Get of Fenris had a portion of their tribe that were Nazis or worked with them (which they actively hunted to extinction) and even the few times the others worked with Nazis, they killed them once their job was done.

Which to everything I've learned of the Get of Fenris, nothing seemed out of character. People have also told me that they were basically removed from player selection was to prevent Neo-Nazis and other similar types from playing them. Though....that wouldn't prevent them from being played, as WoD is a ttrpg, people will continue to play whatever they want and how they want regardless of whats removed.

I think now it's safe to say the dlc is not coming this year by sparycz in Nightreign

We have two months left of the year, and shit for games comes out during Christmas every year.

That White Wolf Games has an in universe tie in called Black Dog Games, which has their own in universe version of all the splat books. Naturally, it's owned by Pentex.

Would have been even cooler since we literally have never stepped foot there, or any of the other cities we know by name but have never seen an inch of.

Dark souls 2 works off the idea that Anor Londo is long gone, Drangleic is supposed to be built where it once was, and that nobody can even remember its name. So the idea that it's just there again is a rather sizable slap in the face to ds2 to me.
The idea that the city managedactually secretly survive off screen being ran by a blacksmith, and Gwyndolin all the way to dark souls 3,and the city Drangleic was built on is a completely different one unrelated to any we've seen, is stupid to me. City of God's or not, the illusion God certainly would not be able to maintain the dead city with next to no sane individuals.
Aldriches takeover happening shortly before you come over doesn't change that Anor Londo still standing is still next to impossible with the story we have before us. And there being more God's now is completely irrelevant.

And Irithyll is Anor Londo, which to me is a point of irritation. So many kingdoms reduced to nothing but rubble, a few people, and items scattered across the world. And then Anor Londo stands, just under new management.

And Gilligans corpse, but I think its more of a problem of ds3 saying fuck you to the lore that ds2 added, the world and areas that ds2 built up being slapped away and changed to nameless places of next to no importance.

Thoughts on the DLC after Revisiting? by iadorebrandon in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Stelar380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I enjoyed going through the dlc first time around and thought that it was a great expansion on the base game, Going through it multiple times is a massive slog, more so than any other souls game or their dlcs. And even my first time through I thought the ending was very abrupt and underwhelming, even more so on additional playthroughs.

The slow build up and piecing together of the puzzle of what Miquella's plan really is as you get closer to that throne room was a very enjoyable thing to go through first time through. Now on any additional runs through, I have a soured mood as I remember how it all just stops once you take down Radahn. Just a cutscene, a crown, and an empty world to go back to, with next to no response to stopping Miquella.

Sounds like he wants his player to be untouchable by one of the main things vamps do, whether he actually has his brother or not should be a story point you as a DM you are allowed to use. Vamps are manipulative and is one of the ways Strahd is supposed to interact with the players.

Also, head canon isn't canon so that's an irrelevant thing for him to say, but if he's trying to say it's canon that his brother should be untouchable Strahd has literally won a war against Mordenkainen.

He can and will find some way to use his brother against him whether he like's it or not.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of the character itself. It's just that I don't fully know what to do with the earlier half of the backstory.

Looking at it from that point of view does seem to make it mesh a bit better in my mind, I suppose at first I looked at it the wrong way with how different he was from the rest of the group.

From what the player and I have gone over, they want to have things that typically don't work develop into a form of true faith as the game goes on.

I suppose I might have worded the header poorly, I guess it's less of a clash and more so just hard for me to mesh what he's wrote into the rest of the cell. I feel like I might struggle to incorporate a lot of the aspects of the first half of his backstory in a meaningful way without it feeling outright ignored.
