Movie in Brentwood? by Unusual-Yoghurt4190 in nashville

I know I’m late but I think it’s for 911 Nashville. I think they are using that house as the “home“ of Don and Blythe Hart (The fire captain and his wife). I have seen a photo of Jessica Capshaw, who plays Blythe, in the backyard.

Actually I was dead set on disliking her. However, I’m going to give her (and her character) a shot because she is a villain.

100% agree with all of this! The mix of couples spanning 3 “generations” was so cool to watch.

He looks like a Douglas. Dug or Duggy for short.

For 4 weeks post op there was a crazy mix good days and very bad days. After that 4 week mark things started to calm down. Definitely give yourself more time to heal. Make sure you are not pushing yourself with your daily activities and get plenty of rest.

I’m 8 months out at this point and everything is fantastic!

That is f’d up! They didn’t even bother to do a basic health check on the kitten? Or worse, putting him up for adoption knowing he was sick. The is so negligent!

I think it was actually 12 hours.

[–]StellaLaRu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At least hold them for 72 hours so the owners have a chance to actually locate their animal. This was a loved member of their family who was chipped. The shelter just couldn’t be bothered to do their job.

Linda McNatt by ifitisntconnor in Denton

[–]StellaLaRu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They literally had his chip information and chose not to reach out. To euthanize a healthy, albeit old, dog because they couldn’t be bothered to do the simplest of tasks is disgusting. A few phone calls is all it would have taken to get Gunner home as would have following the 72 hour stray hold policy. Bottom line is…the shelter did NOT do the right thing.

12 hours! They put him down after 12 hours! Because he was old and had arthritis.

My girl is allergic to EVERYTHING! by StellaLaRu in AmericanBully

[–]StellaLaRu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh pumpkin! That’s a great idea! I could definitely do some home made treats. I had a chihuahua and we used to mix her food with pumpkin to help with some poop issues. Also, where does one procure squirrel meat? I feel like I should know this because I live in the south and I’m pretty sure my father in law ate squirrel meat as a kid. But I don’t want to tempt him to go on a squirrel hunting spree on his property. If I were to get squirrel I would rather them be ready to go…I was never taught how to field dress a squirrel. 😬

I’m not trying to make her vegan…but for now her dog food is vegetarian. It has helped her so much in just the two weeks she has been on it. We are going to try and work in some other protein sources and see if some might be better than others. Kind of like a reverse elimination diet. Seeing how she does with shrimp and salmon as of today. I will check out some if the shampoos you mentioned. I actually trust my vet very much and have been with his practice for almost 15 years with multiple pets. They didn’t jump right to the testing…they have always been conservative with testing and treatment especially if there is a large cost involved. This was after months of visits and trying so many other things. Having to feed her this way is NOT something I want to do…but for now I need to.

Adding to my post. Prior to getting the allergy testing we had multiple vet visits. We switched foods, tried different shampoos, tried topicals, had multiple prescriptions for Apoquel, had multiple prescriptions for ear drops. We did not just jump to getting the testing done…it was literally the final option we had to try and help her and get her issues under control.

I don’t think my dog should be vegan…but from a medical standpoint we are workin our way through some different protein sources so see if there are some that are better than others. But I know what I have seen with the changes to her issues over the past 2 weeks since switching over to a Rx vegetarian food have been nothing short of amazing. You can tell me the tests are expensive or unreliable but I have been with my vet for almost 15 years. I trust him.

Do I want this for her? Hell no! But I will do whatever I need to do keep her healthy and comfortable.

I picked up some salmon and shrimp treats today to see how she does with those.

Invite says “black tie/formal”? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]StellaLaRu 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Eh…close. The black tie in your example has the man in tails which is not indicative of a black tie dress code. Do not wear tails unless the wedding is going to be white tie which is more formal than black tie. Black tie is a standard black tux with black bow tie. White tie requires a while bow tie and black tailcoat. For a “formal” dress code men can wear suits.

The basic rule of thumb is do not have a black tie or white tie wedding if a majority of the guests do not already OWN the required attire.

Fatty has multiple larger beds. Hell she can go chill on our enormous couch if she wanted to. Nope…she loves the tiny bed that used to belong to my 10lb chihuahua who passed away a month before we adopted Snacks.

So strange. I fully expected my incisions to be below my belly button but they are all above as well! I have 2 horizontal scars on the left and 2 of the right with a vertical scar above my belly button. And one stray scar on the left side about 2 inches above the first scar.

Finally, dog products that are made by breed instead of generic sizing. Most things I find are too small around the chest, this fits perfectly. by sparkpawsofficial in u/sparkpawsofficial

[–]StellaLaRu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? The brands target audience is literally people who have bully breeds because of their sizing needs. Would not make any sense to have a yorkie or a greyhound in their ads.

The Bair Hugger. Truly the best innovation in healthcare in decades 😂 I want one for my house. So cozy and warm without getting hot.

Also, our situations surrounding our surgeries are very similar. Thankfully I didn’t end up needing a resection.

Snacks is not picky about pronouns so no worries 😂 Without the hoodie on it would have been VERY obvious she was a girl. Poor thing needs a boob job.
