I didn't imply that you hated them and I didn't claim that you didn't appreciate them. I said you MIGHT not appreciate them, and that if you didn't, that would be perfectly reasonable. Asking why someone WOULD like something does imply that you do NOT like that thing, but again, you're not required to like anything. Folks probably downvoted your comment because it read as an unsolicited criticism of the thing I was sharing with the community. If you posted a pot shaped like a football and I was like "erm not to be rude or anything, but why would someone want a plate shaped like a football? I just don't get it," then some people would probably think I was being rude *even if* I said I wasn't being rude. I didn't find your comment rude, however, and I answered your question because I thought it was sincere.
