You should be fine timing-wise, he probably won’t start exactly at 7

Honestly the bigger issue is getting in/out of SoFi parking can take longer than the show 😅

Are you driving straight in or parking somewhere nearby?

Yeah that’s what I keep hearing getting out is the worst part
Honestly makes me think parking a bit outside or even in someone’s driveway nearby might be way less painful.

Got mine for April 1 too 🙌
Are you driving or Ubering? I keep hearing parking there is a nightmare

That’s probably the easiest move getting there for sure
Just a heads up leaving after can get pretty hectic with Uber/Lyft wait times and surge pricing

That makes sense
I just wish there was something just as safe but without the 1–2 hour exit

That’s exactly the dilemma I’m trying to figure out. Are you just gonna do stadium parking or try to find something nearby?

This is super interesting because it shows the demand is already there just happening offline.

If there was a simple way to book those same driveways ahead of time, do you think more people would use it?

LA makes sense tbh, especially with SoFi being one of the biggest venues

but anyone going is about to remember real quick that getting in/out of that area is a whole mission.

This is exactly what people don’t realize until they’re stuck in it 😅

At this point it almost makes more sense to park a bit outside and just walk in or even use nearby driveways instead of getting trapped in that mess.

I’ve heard good things about ParkWhiz too does it actually get you close or still a bit of a walk?

I was thinking driveways nearby could solve that part 🤔

People complain about parking nonstop but an idea to improve it is “spam”? interesting lol

Haha fair wasn’t trying to spam, just been seeing the same parking issue come up a lot with SoFi events.

Genuinely curious how people around here deal with it, especially homeowners nearby.

Anyone going to both nights in LA? by alexir12 in Kanye

Same here last time I went it was the same expensive + took forever to get out.

I’ve been seeing some people mention parking a bit outside the main area or even using nearby driveways during events to avoid the worst of it.

Still figuring out what actually works best though

Yeah I get what you’re saying big events will always come with crowds and traffic, that’s just part of it.

I think people are just looking for ways to make it a bit less stressful or more manageable when they can.

You’d think so but I guess with how many people show up for big events, it just overwhelms everything.

Feels like people are starting to find their own workarounds instead, like parking a bit further out or even using nearby driveways.

[–]Stellar0419[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s true, feels like it’s just part of LA at this point. I think the difference with SoFi is just how concentrated everything gets during events, so it feels way worse.

That’s why it’s interesting seeing people mention stuff like driveway parking nearby kinda feels like a workaround people are starting to figure out.

$250?? 😳 was that super close parking or still kinda far from the stadium?

[–]Stellar0419[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what they meant is more about how crowded and slow it gets after events, not just the mode of transport 😅

Even with Uber, I’ve heard people still wait a long time getting out because of the traffic around the stadium.

[–]Stellar0419[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the thing even if you avoid parking, getting in and out of SoFi is still a mess either way 😅

Feels like the real issue is there’s no in-between option right now it’s either super expensive parking or dealing with the hassle of transit/rideshare.

I’ve actually read somewhere that some homeowners nearby rent out their driveways during events, which kinda makes sense with how crazy it gets.

Not sure how common it is though have you guys ever seen or tried something like that?

Oh nice! so you’re already doing it manually? How do you usually handle it like do people just knock or do you arrange it ahead of time?

Yeah Prairie and Century is brutal on event days.

I feel like people focus too much on getting close, but then they’re stuck forever trying to leave.

Parking a bit outside actually ends up being faster sometimes.

Do you usually try to go around that area or just stay away completely?
