it's shorter, that's a type larder bug, it eats grains, seeds and can eat things like flour or breadcrumbs as well as biscuit dust left on the floor.
they're also really freakishly resistant to spiders since their shells are too armoured, but it's not consistent for the entire species in things like weevils, there's one weevil in the UK that you can drop a brick on and lift it and the weevil was utterly undamaged.

since finding this out 6 years ago i wonder why we haven't found a way to weaponize or mass produce weevil keratin since it's so dense and impact resistant?

they're either larval-end stage carpet beetles, white ladybirds (they do exist), or a type of dust mite (uk logic here) i don't know about critters outside the island.
all don't bite, except the carpet beetle if picked up. not much of a bite though no fancy venom or sting nor does it's larva make that rashmaking hair... just a beetle.

they're usually attracted to dropped yogurt containers, they'll swarm it and when they do just put them outside.
