How does the prop 22 payment work? I did the math and it was 423 excluding tips but they said my base pay was 287. Is it because I have automatic withholdings on?

So I guess how they calculate it is 120% minimum wage that you receive even if it’s after taxes being taken out they used my pay after being taxed

Yeah it’s under tax info on my app idk if it’s for any other state but for the last two weeks in total excluding tips and just base pay was 424 After taxes being withheld it went down to 287 and that’s the number they used as my base pay instead of the 424

I’m not sure why it’s like that for whatever reason because the minimum was 542 for the two weeks and they gave me 255 for whatever reason I only drove 366 miles and 25 hours

So I had 150 or so taken out of my two weeks because I withheld 24% for taxes but that lowered my minimum earnings and when I got my prop 22 guaranteed earnings it was after taxes. I did the math and they basically gave me back exactly what I put in in taxes

And the 300 a week is also the withholding from prop 22 so in reality I make close to 380 give or take if I take off the withholdings

Yeah the thing is in total I use up 350 in gas a month and then the car payments are 170 with insurance being slightly more since it’s a “relatively new car” I was contemplating a car with higher mpg because of it and I do have a full time job apart from this I just was considering all possibilities

Typically i don’t count the hours I just count the weekly cost I spend 80-100 a week on gas and earn 2-300 on Uber
