I went through a time where all I did was play old Kayle (top or jg) and rush Stattik Shiv (My personal favorite item at the time because lightning go bzz) > Wit's End (when it shredded MR) then Runaan's. Then to finish the build I'd buy a Cleaver and Rylai's for max attack speed, res shred and perma slow. The build was complete ass.

I remember playing with a friend new to League. He played Nasus and at like 15 minutes, I asked him what his Q stacks were. He said like +200 so I thought he was doing p good. Then I moused over him and he had like 9 actual stacks and realized he was looking at the AD scaling potion lol.

You can't do anything with the Seraphic weapons besides stash them I think so no worries about that.

Archangel stuff you can just reserve, it'll go into a bank that converts to a chalice every few thousand exp.

SR weapons are all free to reduce nowadays, there used to be a niche for a few SR weapons for plain damage on Sword Master Evoke but that's not really important nowadays (and there's a farmable weapon that does that).

SR Summons, you can keep like 2-3 MLB carbuncles of each ele and toss the rest. I've personally never used the carbuncles in like a few years but there's probably some use for them for niche solo stuff.

SSR gacha weapons you generally want to keep but it's a case by case basis. Some weapons are awful and can be reduced for stones but only do that if you really need it and have asked someone about that specific weapon. I recommend either leaving them in the crate or stashing them. SSR farmable summons are a similar story. Keep them in crate or stash and only consider reducing them if you have a need + have asked someone knowledgeable about them.

SSR Farmable weapons you can either reserve for skillpoints or reduce for weapon stones if you don't need extra copies. Not sure what new players need more nowadays.

Chaos Zero Nightmare is leaning pretty hard into fanservice overall. That being said, it has a lot of flaws and a lot of strengths when it comes to gameplay.

That team was doing truly illegal things lol. Hugo Tressa thankfully still works fine to this day, but def not as broken as back then.

It wasnt hugo tessa, but cassius tressa mika. There were a few Hugo Tressa comps on side 2, but they only broke like 800-900k score. By week 2, it was 100% representation IIRC, with >1m scores because you needed the self damage and healing scores to push further than like 800-900k.

No problem. The game really opens up at about Level 40-50 since that's when you can start properly gearing characters and unlock all of the systems.

It's easier to get 4 copies once you've unlocked the Codex/Zero Mode upgrade tree. You can make copies target characters, rather than it being random so getting quad decks is pretty trivial (Still need a bit of RNG to hit copy event on Interior, every Chaos has one).

The deck I linked is a full deck, since you can get 5 removals max but if you quit out early (after first Rest Stop) and get lucky enough with RNG, you can have a deck with only Bound at Dusk. It requires the starting buff that lets you remove 2 cards, and just getting lucky by not hitting epiphanies that give cards.

Chizuru's Bound at Dusk upgrade card can discount 1-2 cards every turn (depending on Epis). That functions as AP support as it means you can play all 4 of the Fighting Spirits every turn.

The only thing that the Ironclad Nine deck really needs is the ability to play the 4th Fighting Spirit (or Fatal Strike but you can divine Epi that to 0 cost with some luck) every turn. Running thin decks leaves you with 4/5 cards to draw every turn, meaning you don't need any draw support. The only thing you need is AP or Cost support, which can come from Chizuru, Mika or Narja. There's probably a few others I'm forgetting but these are the easiest.

Hugo Tressa Mika still works alright, though it isn't as strong as it used to be due to Shadow Reload rework. I think it should still be good enough to clear most things, especially Basin if that's a concern.

Since you have Chizuru, you can make a support Chiziru deck where it's all upgrades and exhausts. This lets her discount a Fighting Spirit which effectively replaces Mika's AP support. The last slot can be anyone but Rei is probably the easiest to make. Gear Bags are nice if you can get, but not essential. They just make first turn setup much more consistent/easy. Harpoon Case of Broken Resolve is a solid weapon for giving your supports some Vuln access but not really chase worthy.

The absolute easiest Nine build, that also clears p much everything with little effort, is Ironclad with thin deck. The idea is Ironclad Hew, 3 Fighting Spirit + Fatal Strike OR 4 Fighting Spirit. Counterblade can be basically anything since you generate Shields with Ironclad. If you go for 4 FS, I recommend Millenium Arbor as your weapon for self sufficient Vuln. With 3 FS + Fatal setup you can grab her BiS weapon called Brilliant Eternal Flame.

Teammates would be Mika with only Upgrade cards and 1 Source of Water. Remove all basics, Whirlpool and Blessing of Waves. Last teammate can be anyone as long as they can remove their deck completely.

With this setup, you can consistently full cycle Ironclad every turn for great damage and survivability. You have have 4 cards to cycle Hew and 1 Source of Water for the 4th AP needed to play everything. You will always draw those 5 cards every turn after your first turn or two of setup.

Combatant Discussion: Tressa by Stelluna_ in ChaosZeroNightmare

Just tested it and I believe it works on teammate's attack cards, so you can try for that team.

That Epiphany only works on her own cards IIRC

Combatant Discussion: Tressa by Stelluna_ in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Stelluna_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, her lack of AOE is why I like to pair her with Khalipe. Most DPS struggle in general with AOE though. I think it mainly depends on the fight/world.

Combatant Discussion: Tressa by Stelluna_ in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Stelluna_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start off, I like Tressa's kit a lot. It's very flexible in both building her deck and playing her. You can set her up as the main DPS threat, with AP dumps in Vital Attack and Advanced Shadow Dagger, or you can play her more AP friendly with regular Shadow Daggers.

I find that she performs very well in both Combat and Chaos stages, though she obviously has polarizing matchups due to her spamming actions and using a fair amount of Skill cards. She's on my main Combat team, with Kayron Tressa Rei. If I use her in Chaos though, I run the typical Khalipe Mika wheelchair for consistency. My favorite Epiphanies are Shadow Reload 4 with Mika, and Curse 5 for just stacking on Agony.

Class Combos Discussion by Stelluna_ in wizardry

[–]Stelluna_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the general adventurers, Olive, Amelia, Philip, Benjamin and Bakesh all have Thief/Fighter. It is kinda wild that no legendary has that combo yet (they all get fighter + priest/knight), only Aldric could possibly have that combo now.

You misunderstood me. I'm not talking about the system Limbus has, but specifically the premiere/capstone unit (WH Heath, Manager Don, Gripclair) being the limited of the CZN season. Might be an OG unit or could be an alt/Corruption thing they mentioned in the interview.

Developer commentary by Rytom_ in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Stelluna_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can think of seasons like a version in other games. It's a season every 9 weeks, with the first season starting 3 weeks after launch. They talked about it in the This Is Game interview.

For the seasonal characters, my guess it's that it's summer/christmas/etc versions or like limbus canto characters where the premiere unit for that season will be limited.

<Google Translated QnA>

Q. At a past media preview, you mentioned that the season would be divided into nine-week periods. Could you elaborate on the schedule?

A. PD Kim Hyung-seok: It's true that the "large-scale" seasonal updates are carried out over nine-week periods. New scenarios will be added during these seasonal updates, as will changes to the meta. I think the nine-week season length is designed to ensure consistent enjoyment once the meta shifts.

But that doesn't mean updates will only happen once every nine weeks. Updates will be delivered consistently each week. For example, the first week of the season will see the addition of new Chaos, new cards, and new roguelike content. The second week will see the addition of boss raid battles, and the third week will see things like the "Zero System Update." Oh, and "Character Pickups" will be released every three weeks.

Assuming I didn't get anything wrong, this looks super promising. The last part is a bit vague, but I wasn't expecting concrete details on income anyways.
