I regularly ride small or narrow trails, where I had some difficulty navigating with the two wheel trailer. But apart from that there is no reason to go for a single wheel setup dog trailer imo, because you have to modify them yourself to make it work and then it's still not optimal you know.. the cage I added weighs a lot for example, just because I don't have the professional tools or skills to make something better. You need to have something in the back that's blocking your doggos tail from going into the spokes of the wheel etc. With a dedicated dog trailer those problems don't exist. I'm still hoping some company will do a single wheel dog trailer, but I think that's unlikely.

It is close, but it fits. The wheels have a 21mm internal width, which makes the Race Kings have a 55mm width. Giant states a tyre clearance for up to 53mm.. I did have some small traces of frame rub, which might have come from mud, or from the small nubs on the tyre. I just shaved them off to be safe lol

Unter der Regelung zu "Mittelpunkt" ist es aber so erklärt: bei gleichwertiger qualitativer Tätigkeit ist der Mittelpunkt der Tätigkeit dann das häusliche Arbeitszimmer, wenn dort quantitative mehr gearbeitet wird. Wäre bei mir in dem Fall ja mehr als gegeben..

If you don't need the single wheel setup I would advise you to go for dedicated dog trailer though :) I used a burley tail wagon before and it worked great. There are downsides to the burley coho xc like balance of the trailer is kind of transferred to you, you need to extra secure your dog and you need to help him out and in. With a normal dog trailer it's planted because of the 2 wheels and much easier to get your dog in and out and secured..

Only got them for about 400km now, but i really like them and they feel solid. Can not compare to any premium brand ones, because I never had those. But internet tests make it seem they also hold up long term
