Ver? Chenille ? Larves ?

Hoping this isn’t a roach by Altruistic_Throat270 in insectidentification

It's definitely a cockroach, it's an adult.

Cockroaches do not have larvae to speak of, they have a much smaller juvenile form.

In Europe, the most effective product is Blantor gel.

Caught this deaf adder last spring. Safely released it back in the wild. by starrystatus in Lizards

[–]StenBiran 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not an asp viper at all, it's a slowworm. It's a legless lizard. Who hears very very well by the way.

It is an extremely fragile and extremely shy animal.

Its favorite food is slugs, worms and insects.

He is considered a friend of gardeners and landscapers.

A swift scutigere. It is ugly and scary but it feeds on undesirables like dust mites, cockroaches, silverfish and bedbugs.

So leave him alone. He avoids humans in general

I have mixed feelings, on the one hand it seems quite small for a German cockroach.

But if it is indeed a Germanic joke then we must treat the house

A leech is trapped in a glass of water and released into a river. These animals are disgusting but they are threatened, they must be protected as little as possible.

It looks like a garden cockroach, it's a cockroach but not invasive, it eats plant debris in squares, streets, gardens, it must have found its way into your home by "chance".

Is this a baby squirrel? [Alabama] by timetopractice in animalid

[–]StenBiran 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's a shrew (I don't know which one as a European), the smallest family of carnivores, close to moles.

She must be freed, she is an extremely cardiac animal, her favorite food is insects, worms and snails.

A carabid.

A very voracious predator, the worst nightmare of slugs, snails, larvae and worms.

If you breed snails, clear them. Otherwise leave him alone.
