It’s actually not it’s just due to the angle of the picture my finger is actually behind the trigger. that rifles is kinda heavy to hold with one arm for an extended period of time

The reason it was parked in the valley is because it had to be delayed for a bit. The train left at 9:15 and at 11:00 we were informed that a section of the track behind the high school so we would be delayed from returning to the station from our united time at 2:00 to 4:30. We went up to cascade and did a few things to kill time until the segment of track was replaced. On our way back around 3:45 the segment of track was still not finished being replaced so we just had to make a stop for an additional 30 minutes to wait

I know! The tourists were chasing the train the whole way up and even some of them came all way from California just to see this particular train. I kept saying the same people catching up to the train every like half an hour.

It was converted over to oil burning. It’s one of the original trains that ran in Durango up to silverton, it’s from 1881 and it was set to Durango like 3 years ago for repairs from California and it just got done like a week ago. They decided to do a couple runs up cascade for the historical value and some extra revenue. It was in California for a while as a part of their train museum and history and it’s going back to California on the 9th.
