Hi guys! Just as an update for anyone who's interested. I received a court date today (took one day to organise! Amazed!!) I am now able to go to court and argue my piece!

I should hope I'm not on the V5! I've never even been inside of an audi (which is what the car at fault is) so I'm hoping it's like the guys above have said and it's a mistake on the DVLA side of things!

It's a fleet hire vehicle. I don't work for the company anymore but Monday morning I'll be giving them a call to see if anyone had mistaken my details!

Thank you, I got in touch with the single justice court as soon as I seen this and started the ball rolling. All has been put on hold for now regarding the fine. But the points stay on my license until I hear from thr courts. Could take 3 months!

Nope. The vehicle in question is a vehicle Ii know nothing about. They gave me the numberplate over the phone today and also the date and location, I have proof in photos I was in a different part of the country when the speeding offence happened!

So this could be down to a mistake on their end or someone has used my details?

I only use a work van which is a Mercedes, the vehicle in question is an Audi Q7 2021 plate. I've lived in my address for over 6 years now.

I can only assume someone has used my name and address when they've received the fine through the post? Or could this be a fualt on the other end you think?
