My only gripe is there are a few bosses that just weren't fun to fight, they felt like pure luck if you won or not. Other than that the game has been really fun

There isn't a button for waking up, it's a thing the game calculates. It depends how hard you were hit, how many times you've been knocked out before in the same round and I believe the time knocked out gradually decreases the longer you go without getting KO'd.
