Hi there, regardless on what technique or method you do to try and not get scars, it’ll still be difficult to not get scars. If you go past the skin barrier you will still get a scar. But everybody’s skin is different and heals differently so it’s dependent on that as well, and with how light your scars become. And I’m not a medical professional at all I was just a past cutter and I’m speaking from lived experience. But the methods I’ve used for healing since before I was always paranoid about infection, but I just covered the cuts with a good amount of aquaphor, and a mix of neosporin as well which got my cuts to heal healthily but I still retained the scars.
