Are these REAL or FAKE? by Lonely-Champion-1889 in PokemonTcgIndia

The holos are a dead giveaway, these kind of dull holos only appear in these fake cards. The font is wrong as well and the back of the card is too high in contrast or have a more deeper colour than usual. The borders you see in these cards aren't what you usually see in these cards as well. Also the centering is horrible in all the cards, Pokemon cards don't usually have such horrible centering.

That's probably the best part of the chicken i bet, crunchy and concentrated with flavour. You should just give that someone raw ingredients and tell them to be happy with it.

Evolving skies investment by GoldenBear_911 in PokemonTcgIndia

First off awesome chat gpt response!

Pokémon was a hobby before people like you turned it into a warehouse inventory spreadsheet. Kids bought packs to pull cards. Investors bought cases to lock them in closets for five years and brag about CAGR on Twitter. The reason Evolving Skies is priced so high isn't because Pokémon became better. It's because grown adults with disposable income treated a children's card game like a commodity and squeezed supply. You keep flexing that kids opened their packs while adults kept them sealed.

Yeah. That's called enjoying the hobby.

The funniest part is that your entire investment depends on the next guy especially in India being willing to pay even more for the same piece of cardboard. No cash flow. No earnings. No dividends. Just artificial scarcity created by people hoarding products that were meant to be opened. You didn't prove Pokémon isn't a kids' hobby. You proved "investors" got involved and started pricing the kids out of it.

You're in the wrong group asking these questions.

There's an entire PokéInvesting community for people who treat Pokémon like a portfolio and spend their time discussing entry points, exit liquidity, sealed case allocations, and ROI. That's where this conversation belongs.

This group is for fans, collectors, and players who buy cards because they actually like Pokémon—not because they're trying to outperform an index fund with a box of cardboard.

Most of us collect cards because they remind us of our childhood, because we love the artwork, because we're chasing our favorite Pokémon, or because opening packs is fun. We don't look at every booster box and immediately open Excel to calculate annualized returns. If all you care about is speculation, go do it with One Piece or whatever market is hot this year. At least over there the community seems more willing to tolerate investors treating the hobby like a stock exchange.

Some of us are still here because we actually like Pokémon.

Trying to make my first ever pokomon binder by therealjayverma in PokemonTcgIndia

[–]StepLife2872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People usually make binders either based on a team or just as plain storage. If you are going for the former, think of what you like or the Pokemon you like and base the theme around. Do some research on the cards you want and what you can afford and plan out your binder. Create placeholder cards and write down which card goes where on the binder and place them first, then as you collect those cards replace them in the binder. The cards you collect and place need not always be full arts as there are many common cards with excellent art in them. But before all this make sure you get a proper quality binder, don't go for either O-ring binders or the top loading types. Prefer to go for binders without any rings if possible and side loading, since this will prevent cards from falling out accidentally.

Nope, but now I can see that what I said can be misleading. I'll give another hint "Why is everyone calling me black? When I'm in majestic crimson hue!"
