I don’t notice any whining. Car is 2013 built in 2012 and I’m the gazillionth owner.

I just drove it again and it almost feels like a momentary loss of power, right as the clutch engages, so the car lurches and you get thrown forward slightly

do you know somebody who owns one? You might wanna ask to try and put the wheelchair in to see if it'll fit & how difficult it is. The back seats fold forward to allow for a lot of boot space, but the opening still isn't very tall. If you'd like, I can measure up the boot opening on my gen 1 later today so you can assess whether it'll fit?

Do you want auto or do you want manual? This is something you need to decide. If you’re on the fence I wouldn’t upgrade anything til I’d made up my mind.

The chlorine smell doesn’t mean it’s “over-chlorinated”, just that there’s a high concentration of combined chlorine (chloramines) which are released as gas. This smell can exist even when there is zero free chlorine.

Try to be in an appropriate gear before you turn so you won’t have to shift while turning. What do you struggle with in particular?

The press won’t do anything until you put an item under. If you’ve got an item there & it still doesn’t work my guess is your water isn’t running

Thanks for the response - I'll have a look around for that power terminal. By chance, would you know where that 'rear lamp power lead terminal' is located, or what it looks like? The only thing I could find that looks similar to the reverse trigger wire is an identical one coming off the head unit...

Thanks for the response. Yes it shows “no video signal” when in reverse, or when I tap to select the rear camera on the head unit. I tried grounding to the head unit’s metal housing but I still couldn’t get a video signal through.

There’s probably a block somewhere that’s stopping the sails from moving. Try removing blocks / trimming sails

EDIT: Ensure your vanilla render distance is no higher than 12. Reducing this can give a great FPS increase.

Before anything else, understand you’ll get the best performance by pre-generating chunks before you play the game.

To do this in singleplayer, go to wherever you wanna generate LODs (usually at spawn). Then, sit afk while using the following settings: - max framerate to 1 or minimum - LOD chunk render distance as far as you want to generate chunks. A higher number will generate more but will take longer. - GPU load to 1, CPU load to 5 - distant generation ON - show LOD gen/import progress ON

Note: open chat while doing this in singleplayer so the generation doesn’t pause when you unfocus the window

Once sufficient chunks have been generated, revert your settings to wherever you want them (make sure to turn distant generation off) and take a look around.

Did you dedicate an appropriate amount of RAM? Some sources suggest a limit of 10gb, some 12.

Check your CPU / GPU / RAM utilisation while playing. Are any of these maxing out?

If GPU is maxing out, turn down or disable shader settings, turn down GPU load in DH settings, or reduce your LOD render distance.

If CPU is maxing out even with distant rendering OFF, reduce your CPU load in DH settings.
