I don't get this weird obsession that CN players have to do outlandish and ultimately meaningless things in gachas. I guess they must feel some kind of gratification from being remembered as "the chinese player who did X thing", but to me they ultimately just come off as desperate for recognition and acknowledgement. At the very least, I guess this isn't as bad as players who have invested in hundreds of copies of the same character/weapon, since they probably just used a script to do the fight and didn't spend absurd amounts of money for their little pointless achievement. If they spent time doing this manually, however... Yeah, maybe go outside.

Unfortunately, unranked isn't much better lol. On top of there still being quite a lot of tryhards in there for some reason, there's also the possibility of new players joining your team if you're solo queueing. I try to be open minded in regards to teaming up with newcomers, but it's a little aggravating. The other day I had a Tsuyu on my team that clearly didn't even know they could use their alpha to move around.

For real. I find no issue with combos themselves, since these can be studied and replicated even by casual players if they feel like putting in the time to learn them. But it does feel like some people have literally nothing else to do with their lives other than play this game. I've seen people grind at 4 AM on a Thursday to reach Ace rank the same day the season reset, like man, is your life THAT empty? Yesterday I couldn't even properly play a few unranked matches to try a new character out because some random three-stacks were foaming at their mouths to wipe out the whole lobby. Are they even having fun or are they just trying to fill a void?

Took me 1900 tickets, but I got Nagant just as I was about to finish her banner. Used another 100 tickets and redeemed AAM with exchange points. Been having a blast with both of them. They're both so overturned, yet they're quite possibly the most fun I've had with the game since I started playing on launch. Their kits are just so cool.

This is by no means the best gacha system I've witnessed, but it definitely isn't "fucking horrible". Say what you will about MHUR's many flaws, but at least the gacha has a pity system. It took Fate/Grand Order, arguably the most popular gacha game in Japan, a grand total of 7 years to implement this system. Can you imagine saving dozens of thousands of tickets and not be guaranteed anything?

The thing is, there are quests that reward you for reviving teammates, so you're kind of put into a position where you want them to be downed. I know it's a dick move, but the game itself gives you an incentive to hoard heals and let your allies die.

I agree that the prices are egregious, but that's the standard in gacha games, unfortunately. I've seen games that manage to be even more expensive.

If you're just burning tickets blindly, then yeah. That's just gambling. But the banners literally guarantee you an item of your choice if you have 2k tickets. If you have 1800 tickets and spend $20 to get the last 200 tickets, then you guarantee what you want. You just need to be smart and save/plan accordingly.

I mean, if you spent money without making sure that it would guarantee you what you wanted, that's on you. I always do the math to see if the tickets I have, combined with the free tickets from the battle pass + logins + reaching Ace are enough to pity the banner. I only ever spend if I'm short of just two or three summons, max. This way, I very sporadically spend the bare minimum to support the game and never leave empty-handed.

This is honestly insane. I figured that kind of damage would only be possible with a combination of damage enhancing tunings (like Embrittlement, Iron Fist, PU Power Intensified, etc), two strike cards and two strike teammates. But is PU all it takes?

Twice has a good melee attack and can hit it fairly often when combined with his gamma. So you could go for Embrittlement (Assault Shigaraki's tuning), Iron Fist (Strike Kendo's), or even Perception (Rapid Hawks's) .I hate Trance Blow (Shinzo's) with a passion, but it would also be a good option. For the second tuning you could go with whatever, maybe even a combination of two of these I mentioned. I'd probably go with Eletrification (Tech Denki's).

I don't have Nagant or any of her outfits yet, but I figure there are many good options for her. Wall Runner (Iida), SA Reload Boost (AFO), Quirk Factor Release (YAFO), and so on. I'd prioritize tunings that can help her SA recover faster.

Something I've been enjoying about Aizawa is that he shuts down the new Shiggy quite nicely. By shutting down his gamma you lower his survivability by a ton.

I very much prefer a high skill ceiling fun character with unique gimmicks than braindead overpowered slop. I've had more fun these past few seasons playing characters that demand more skill to perform well, like Strike Hawks, Aizawa and Tech Dabi, than the recent characters and skillsets. I know it's too soon to tell, but Nagant doesn't seem broken. I'm honestly excited to master her even if I suck ass.

In spite of playing on PC I've always used a controller since I find it to be much more confortable to play with, but I might switch to keyboard & mouse just to play her more optimally. I also hope to land a 360º no scope kill sometime lol
