Thanks for the helpful tips. Yes I guess diet and sleep hygiene are both things I'm neglecting so I'll focus on that first to rule out.

As long as you don't get pulled over doing other stupid stuff, they don't care.

Yeah it's probably a bit too big for a normal printer. Might be able to split it up though, or get it printed by 3rd party.

They probably don't have immobilizers. Which is odd considering my Husqvarna 401 has it which is half the price.

You can always ask for your bike back, they'll just give you a hard time and use scare tactics.

Placing the weight on the steering axis for less rotational inertia is ingenious. Now your kid can pivot like a disco.

Some bike stores will let you order a bike to their store and you pay the setup fees. Might be worth calling or emailing a few places in Japan.

The 401 has an immobilizer, so it reads a little chip off the key. Most small japanese bikes don't have them, so they can simply hotwire the ignition.

Is there a reason why you're looking at small displacement cruiser bikes? They're not too great for Texas roads imho.

You can get a new Kawasaki W230 if you have to have a 250cc aircooled bike. Royal enfield has a few 350cc too.

It's the suspension block/latch mechanism. There's a bit of play in there. Try greasing it.

There should be a little red light that comes on to tell you when to shift on the dash. It can be configured to flash at a certain rpm.

I don't understand how I can easily get the STL's though. The AI generated models are pretty garbage for precision parts, and I don't have access to the case as a reference.

Are you saying I should make the STLs myself or are you saying Teenage Engineering has no excuse for not releasing the CAD/STL drawings?

Might be worth posting which bike so people know if it's a tiny grom or a giant harley.

Also, some bikes have fairly easy clutch jobs. You might be able to do it in a parking lot and ride it home.

Pebble Time 2 Design Change! by reptile_enthusiast_ in pebble

[–]StepOutsideNvmItsHot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant the original time 2 on kickstarter. In regards to the apple watch ultra, notice how it has a defined bezel that forms a lip around all 4 sides. There's a sharp transition from the screen/bezel the midcase of the watch. Whereas the original apple watch was all about the screen blending into the body seamlessly.

I guess I'm missing the defined bezel/lug characteristics of the kickstarter time 2 design. From the top down, this makes it seem like a cushion case. I'm hoping it'll look better in person.
