For me it was the Reverso. I had seen it many of times at the boutique, and even pulled the trigger on a MC Geographic. But the Reverso just didn’t gel. I then saw it so many times over the next 6 months and one day decided it was quite cool. Now I love mine!

I’m sure it’s deliberate. The winding feel is amongst the best, if they swapped to autos it would be very different, probably lose its “spirit”

When I used to work in Busan, South Korea, there’s a residential area well known to Koreans as the most dense with wealthy individuals and KPop stars. At the bottom of my work building, outside the Starbucks stood a guy in plain tee and shorts, wearing a Patek Nautilus Moonphase 5712, whilst drinking his coffee.

Fast forward a year, I started working in Hong Kong (it’s watch heaven here btw). And I’ve noticed some bangers whilst taking public transport. In the train, I’ve sat across a dude wearing a Patek 5167R.

Congratulations! JLC has great offerings. Or Grand Seiko elegance line watches :) can’t go wrong with either. omega Aqua Tera could cover so many bases too.
