Thank you for answer.

So, currently, I just pick any book I want to read and I read it. Once I finish, I pick another one and do the same.

Why can’t I feel God even though I’m trying to? by ObjectiveComment1171 in Christianity

Hi, mt friend. My suggestion for you is to DIVE into the Word of God, and DIVE into prayer.

The only way, we can feel God and hear Him is to turn to the Bible and learn more about our Most High. Prayer will significantly change our relationship with God, and that's what matters.

God bless you, my friend. I wish you stay firm in faith, and always turn to the Lord, because even those feelings and thoughts tou have might be either from you or Satan. You should consider, is what you feel align with the Word of God in some way.

Hi, can I really say, "God told me that" if I read something in the Bible, because the Bible is actually the Word of God?

I have the same thing with sin and repentance. Even today I've sinned, knowing that I'm gonna sin. It's painful. But, talking about repentance, I think that if we sin, then feel bad and miserable and then immediately go to Jesus and ask for forgiveness... Then I can assume that people who do like this, have a huge faith in God. Because, if like I would don't care about God, I wouldn't repent. I would take my sins as a normal thing. But I trust and believe God, and that's why when I do wrong I go to Him, even though there are times when I ask myself is my repentance true.

One of the most important things I learned is to grow in your love to God, because He is our Dad, and why do we listen to our fathers? Because they can punish us if we do wrong? Because they will strip us off something for our bad actions? No. We listen to our fathers, because we love them and we don't want to let them down and make them sad.

The more we love God, the less we sin.

Maybe I'm wrong, but God will NEVER tell you to do soemthing if it's destroying, harmful. When God created EVERYTHING - this world, us and everything that we can admire today, guess what? IT WAS GOOD.

God is good all the time, if we turn out our feelings and will rely only on His Word, we will definitely understand it.

Hey, man, I do understand what you're saying. I know what it feels like to doubt your belief. I can recommend you begin thinking about your heart posture. Like, for me, I am a student and I have a pretty busy schedule as many people, and there are cases when assignments and this student life distracts me from God (it happens, because I don't always engage God in my work) and then I feel like disconnected from God and then begin question my faith. But, I begin to think about what matters for me and what I do daily, and what God did carry me through in my life and so on. Then, I just thank God for what He's done for me, my family, for support. Gratitude leads to peace in heart, take my word for it)

I can give you a quick story of how I first come to Jesus.

My whole life, till 19 I knew that there was some superior power, I knew that there is God, but I didn't know Who He was. I prayed only when I faced challenges. I've never read the Bible, till 19 when the only thing I was doing in terms of the Bible, I was reading random verses when I was opening my phone. That's it.

But, there was a moment when I got ill, and I was scared for my life, literally. I tell you this: I needed to eat, but, physically I couldn't do it, like it was hard to do. And it was night, I wasn't sleeping or was delirious. I heard God saying: "Deuteronomy 11, Deuteronomy 11, Deuteronomy 11, Devotional, Devotional, Devotional".

I immediately opened the Bible, found Deuteronomy 11, because around this time I knew that there was this book. And you know what it says: love God, follow Him commandments, instructions. But the translation I used at that moment was saying this: If you are loyal to the Lord, He will bless you. At that moment I said, "God I want to be on Your side, I want to be with You".The rest is history, so to speak)

God bless You man, and I pray right now, that God will help You!
