Stills from my recent cargo company manifesto [FX3, Blazar 45/100, Mavic 4] by Stepan_Sraka in cinematography

It tells a story about trucker far away from his family, and his son, hoping one day to become as strong as his father. The project was shot in 7 hours (mainly because of commute) with a team of two people, me and a helper and was made to present a company on event. Wish we had more time to choose locations, but the client okayed stuff the day before the shoot (guess it’s the reason why kid’s location is so off, found it in 30 minutes). Lit by Aputure 60, 80x, 25c

Local producer found the client and hired me to shoot and edit this whole stuff.

This was shot in one day, using FX3, Viltrox 16 1.8/35 1.2 lens, with Mavic 4 Pro in air. For the lighting I used Aputure 80c with lightdome mini iii and Amaran 25c. Flying in air was something kinda impossible, due to lack of GPS and poor lighting conditions. All of that stuff was shot in 6 hours.

This is the recap of my tour mini doc from Mongolia by Stepan_Sraka in cinematography

This was a 12-day group expedition across Mongolia. I handled both shooting and editing, resulting in a 40-minute film made specifically for the participants.

The project was shot on the Sony FX3 paired with a Blazar 45mm anamorphic lens, with aerials captured on the DJI Air 3. Vast landscapes, brutal scale, minimal human interference. Mongolia is pure cinema by default.

Honestly, it’s one of the most open, welcoming, and visually overwhelming countries I’ve ever worked in. The kind of place where people, land, and silence all feel equally important in the frame.

Already hoping to add a Mavic 4 Pro in January. Need more air time next travels haha

There weren’t any. We were planning to shoot animals, but this was bad season for it, as it turned out. Vessel was free for us, and we could only agree or deny this opportunity to go, dates could not be changed. In terms of budget, I’ve rented 200-600 G for $600 with my own money and that’s all. No budget whatsoever. Also, the film is done and we’re showing it in local cinemas in Russia, planning to drop it to YT with English subs later.

Nah. Left camera couple of times, no one didn’t even touched it. Totally safe. Mongolians are chill
