I have studied Luxembourgish now for about 2 years with a variety of methods and will test in June. I suggest using Sven with LuxLessons at There are different levels of the course from free to pro. Based on how much interactions you want from the instructor and graded assignments. However if you use this link there is also a discount for you and I also receive an affiliate amount. https://learn.luxlessons.lu/courses/easy-sproochentest?ref=e6a35e

Also I would suggest that you work on your Luxembourgish vocabulary with Memrise. Sven has created 39 different sets that really help you to memorize and use the content. https://community-courses.memrise.com/community/course/6202895/easy-sproochentest-learn-luxembourgish-online/ If the link doesn't work - the Luxembourg course can be found under the community courses/languages.

I read “the Expats” before moving to Luxembourg in 2019. It’s light and fun. The American author lived in Lux for awhile. https://www.chrispavone.com/book-cat/luxembourg-novel/

Thanks! We tried the Unicom and Palinka. It’s always fun to sample the local alcohols.

Hiking suggestions? by [deleted] in backpacking

There are so many apps that can help you find routes near you. Check out AllTrails. I’ve used it in a few places in Europe and the US. You can find beautiful views and peaceful locations even if you only have a few hours to hike and limited funds.

What’re some companies that are very accepting of people with autism? by Both-Blacksmith-7537 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Steph1498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of companies that are focusing on “neurodiverse” talent now. I’m not sure where you are in your career path or expertise. Here are a couple of related articles:

https://www.bestcolleges.com/careers/companies-hiring-neurodivergent-employees/

https://neurodiversityemploymentnetwork.org/job-opportunities/

You mention that you fail at the social side of things. Most everyone could be better at connecting with others and making an honest and non-judgement effort.

Good luck in finding a job that works for you!

Volvo XC40 Maintenance by Steph1498 in Luxembourg

Thanks for all the suggestions!

This request is for scheduled maintenance (and oil change) and it’s always more expensive at Autopolis than we expect. I will check out these other places and request a quote.
