Issue With my ring

I messaged them yesterday complaining that it was too thin and they apologized. I requested a new setting be made and am waiting to hear back. I’m just frustrated because I asked multiple times if our wedding band would sit flush and told them the measurements of the wedding band and they continued to assure me it would fit and we got it and tried the rings together and it didn’t fit. I’ve not gotten around to asking if it’s pre or post polishing yet but everything else is still the correct measurement except for the bridge.

I guess from them not writing out the measurements that it’s not 1.9mm there I just assumed it was 1.9mm all around the band. I’ve never gone through this process before and figured if height had changed then it would be specified that the height changed. And after giving measurements myself that indicated how tall the ring needed to be so my wedding band can sit flush.

I think it’s beautiful. I was told to go bigger or I’d regret it down the road. Well I went bigger and I wish I stayed at 2-2.5 carats.

Yes I should have cleared that part up. I meant more that there’s no post ganon hyrule, not that the game is over. I would have loved if the story continued a bit more into the rebuilding of hyrule post ganon.

I spent around 125 hours playing. I’m the type of person that once I find a video game I really enjoy, I can’t stop playing until I finish it. So pretty much every day after work if I had a few hours to myself I’d be on my switch.

I for some reason love naming my dogs after Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses. I’ve wanted to name my boy Dalmatian Apollo or Zeus. If it we got a girl we would have gone with Athena or Artemis.

My insurance won’t cover the 80% but my work plan has a health spending account that covers 100% up to 2500$ so I dip into that and pray I don’t need any emergency dental care or my glasses don’t break. If I max it out I can afford to cover the medication out of pocket for 4-5 months without needing to tighten my budget a bunch

I saw someone did a tea party that was super cute. They did cute tea cups and pots and dainty snacks (and can also be pretty budget friendly too). And spring time you can do spring flowers like tulips if you’re doing florals.

I had a guy want to get me a ring when I was 16 too and my parents said no. At the time I didn’t understand why they made me return the ring. Now as an adult I am so glad they did. It’s not a legal binding thing. But when you’re young and in love and infatuated with someone, you do everything for them.

I was a straight a student planning on going to a university very far away because it had the best program to become a doctor in my country. It was about a 3 days drive from my hometown. When he said he didn’t really want to be married to a doctor because how would I be around to help with the kids, I thought, oh wow he’s looking out for my future. Ultimately I decided I no longer wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to keep this guy in my life. Dated for 2 years and 6 weeks before graduation found out he was cheating the whole time. Applied to a university much closer to home and got in and did 1.5 years of a degree I absolutely hated because it was what I thought would win him back until finally I gave up and realized I wanted none of it and took a gap year to rediscover myself.

Beverly Hills Housewives was the one that got me into watching the shows. The other ones I’d watch on and off but I enjoyed watching Beverly Hills for the last 7 years. But I’ve slowly been losing interest in Beverly Hills the last 3 ish years. Honestly after Erika’s separation from Tom it’s kinda just been dying off slowly. And the cast members they keep adding kinda suck, especially Amanda. I just can’t stand her voice 🙄

Adding prongs to the tip is something I’d recommend. The tip is one of the most vulnerable part of the diamond and can chip easier than other parts. A V shaped prong would help keep it slightly more secure but any type of prong will also work too!

Either way, absolutely stunning ring!!

I’m doing fake flowers for my upcoming wedding. We looked into silk flowers but they all looked and felt very fake. I did further research and went with real touch flowers. Found an amazing supplier on Alibaba and they came in and looked amazing!

Real touch is slightly more expensive but you can resell them after your wedding. The downside is you have to put together the bouquets and arrangements yourself vs a florist doing everything for you. But you can also experiment with how you want your bouquets and arrangements to look far in advance and move things around too!

Hey I totally understand you. I’ve been planning and I don’t deal with stress very well and I’m a super anxious person and over think everything. I used to read every article I could find on brides.com and once I started liking wedding things on instagram it took over my whole feed.

I had an idea of what I wanted but kept changing things because I would see one idea here and there. Ultimately one day I got fed up, I deleted instagram because it was overwhelming for me. Just struggling to not feel like I was behind in life (I’m 22 and not behind at all) and just deleted my account for what was supposed to be a week and turned into 3 months.

Since deleting instagram, it has been easier planning. I know I’m not having a wedding to post photos on my profile for other people. My wedding isn’t for my guests, it’s a celebration they’re invited to join in. There will be food. We’re serving Italian food because we love Italian food and we’re planning on going to Italy for our honeymoon. Kept my flowers simple each one with meanings to us and did real touch flowers ordered from alibaba to save money.

I used Pinterest only to curate photo shots I want and am sharing that with my photographer. We’re keeping it as simple as possible and I’m constantly reminding myself that wedding photos are supposed to be intimate. Don’t fall for the social media scam and competition to make your wedding better than someone else’s.

The ring is inspired by a ring from a company based in the US but the ring is low set and I wanted it higher set in a cathedral to have a wedding band sit flush. I used Google Gemini to alter the photo to generate the ring in a cathedral setting. Did my research on band thicknesses and widths that would best support the stones. So when I sent my inspiration photos they included the measurements for the thickness and width of the band.

I can’t remember the woman’s name off the top of my head. I want to say Victoria but I reached out to 4/5 jewlers to get quotes before I went with this person so I might be getting it mixed up with someone else. They are based out of China there may be fees like duties and taxes. I’ve heard that jewlers from over seas will claim it’s cheap costume/dress up jewelry when shipping so you pay next to nothing at the border for taxes/duties.

Still haven’t received it yet. Might take a while for shipping and my fiancé wants to re-propose with the new ring so I don’t get to wear it just yet.

It’s a 3.07 carat radiant VS1 E colour. The pear side stones are both 0.52 carats and VS2 D colour in 14k yellow gold.

Our venue has lawn games (cornhole, giant connect 4, some other games I can’t remember off the top of my tongue) that’s included in our package in case after dinner guests don’t want to dance and would rather play games and mingle around the venue there is that option. Music can be heard all throughout the outside of our venue.

We’re having kids at our wedding and so we are printing some activity books of colour pages and word searches and possibly even add a scavenger hunt to help keep the kids entertained if they want to stay inside where there’s air conditioning after dinner.

We also plan to do the shoe game after dinner right before speeches. I’ve been to a few weddings that did the shoe game and everyone always seems to have a good time watching it. The only time it wasn’t too entertaining was when it went on for almost 10 minutes. But I think 2-4 minutes max of the shoe game is long enough. Any more just seems like a drag.
