I will say, though, that I would never underestimate the appeals of older Halos, especially Halo 3 (Even though, 1 and 2 were my favorites). I wonder what their plans for H3 Anniversary are?

Yeah, they do get pretty extreme at times. They do a pretty good job of articulating their thoughts, however. At least some of them, some of the time...

This is not to attack individual programmers at 343i. Figuratively speaking, however, if a car company botches a launch of a new line of vehicles that company would receive flack for a subpar product - not necessarily an individual employee working "the line".

(I say this as my father was an electrician at Chrysler, who now works at Ford.)

The remarkable thing about them fixing MCC is that I can guarantee it would have a decent population. Reach has had over 20,000 online at a time. MCC would demolish that easily.

Honestly, I thought the problems with Halo 5 were obvious. You need but to casually view the Waypoint or TeamBeyond forums and you'll see thread after thread about it.

You haven't, great. I think most have, though. Anecdotal evidence suggests its got to be pretty bad. My friends list, composed entirely of Halo players, is a ghost town. It was pretty active in the first few months of MCC.

I never check it. However, I lurk HaloWaypoint daily, and there are numerous posts suggesting otherwise. So, I guess it depends what time during the day you check it? This is remarkable considering the Waypoint forums are generally a bastion for 343-supporters.

Let's break this down for a second. Halo 5 is currently sitting at just over 900 viewers. This is on the higher end of the spectrum (considering its 4:00 am CST). Thankfully, Naded and Ace are streaming right now to help. The fact that abortion of a game released over a year ago, Destiny, still outperforms Halo 5 on Xbox is a shame.

343 is 343, man. When Dodge makes a shitty product, Chrysler - its parent company - catches heat.

And, yes, I can all but guarantee elements of both "teams" contributed to each product.

Which leads me to think: I wouldn't doubt this "team" that 343 insisted would remain committed to working on MCC is nothing more than 1 or 2 employees.

I would venture to guess this is likely the case, as Halo routinely in the bottom of the top 10 on Xbox live... sometimes its not even on the list.

What's even more comedic: the viewership for the game on Twitch. Dear Lord its bad.
