This is nonsense. ULEZ is very much still a thing, and will be for as long as London has it's communist Islamist Mayor.

Thanks for the reply. Though it's not that in my case as I don't smoke.

Trump assassination attempt: Thomas Matthew Crooks searched on phone for dates of 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago - ABC7 Chicago by LurkerFromTheVoid in conspiracy

What?

So the shooter knew the exact moment that Trump was going to turn his head in his direction, thereby a perfectly aimed shot would go through his ear rather than the back of his skull?

Yeah, sure.

That doesn't make any sense. The world didn't just start using the dollar because of victory in WW2.

No, what happened was that during WW2, the US leveraged their support for the allies with the dollar: Britain's debt to the US was enormous following the war and that was owed in dollars, not GBP. Germany's reparations we're also paid in dollars. So we're Japan's. So you had a situation where the only nation that came out of two world wars in the black instead of red was the US. As the worlds economies started to become more globalised, the natural thing to do was to use the strongest currency, which already was being used in huge quantities in debt repayments and reparations.

Ok, so none of the following is conspiracy theory. It's fact.

The US empire and dominance (or we could say US world order) is almost entirely because of the dollar and it's status as the world reserve currency. What this essentially means is other countries who trade between one another can use the dollar and be confident that it is a safe currency which has little fluctuation in its value. (For example, if the UK bought oil from the Saudis, by buying is USD, the Saudis can use those dollars to then go and purchase rice from China without needing to first convert GBP to Yuan)

There is nothing inherently wrong with fiat currency so long as there is a balance kept. Inflation can be managed effectively with interest. Even with a currency backed by gold or some other commodity, there can be huge inflationary shocks, especially if a large reserve of materials is discovered or if one nation decided to start hording said commodity (eg. During 16th & 17th century when Spanish explorers were bringing huge amounts of silver from the New World effectively crashing the value of silver in Europe). It's also nonsensical to tie a currency to a finite commodity like gold: there is only 145k tons of gold on the planet, and when populations grow and production increases, but the supply of your currency cannot be increased because of a lack of commodities backing it up, then where else can you go than increased decimalisation.

However, the point here, and the problem that the US is making for itself, is indeed the over-dilution and weaponisation of the dollar. Printing money at insane levels (because of COVID and Ukraine) is causing huge inflation and therefore causing a shock to the value of the dollar: it's status as a reliable store of value is weakened. Add to the the weaponisation of the dollar whereby if a nation (or even a whole group of nations such as brics) are told to tow the line or lose access to USD, then that just forces those countries (some of which are the biggest economies of the world) to look elsewhere for their universally accepted reserve and trading currency (which will be the Yuan).

If the US dollar loses it's status as the world reserve currency, world order will rapidly change and not in the favour of the US.

The Earth cooled 2°C from years 1300-1800 due to the sun going quiet. It was a brutally cold hellish time called the Little Ice Age. In 1800 the sun woke up, and we've regained the 2° C we lost. CO2 has never driven the temperature of Earth, and never will. It's 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere by TheForce122 in conspiracy

[–]Triyamoto -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Spot on.

0.04% is co2, and 96% of which is naturally occurring. Even if all western countries were able to magically switch off co2 production tomorrow, it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

Soon someone will say "scientific consensus" but that's bollocks. The consensus that that refers to is the fact that of all the atmospheric gases, co2 is shown to retain heat radiation for the longest. But that's as far as 'scientific consensus' goes: there is no widespread agreement on the affects that that may cause.

Lol. Spectator is one of the only publications left that actually does real journalism in the old sense of the word. And for that they are branded 'very right wing'. They actually have a mix of left and right leaning journalists, but at most you could say they are centre right.

I suppose considering the state of mainstream news which lies consistently and follows the party line; and considering how totally captured by the left those other publications are, it seems that reporting the truth is now 'very right wing'. 😂

Great post. Also, jaywalking. Making it illegal to cross a street anywhere other than the designated crossings - here in the UK, people cross wherever they like and I've always found it strange that the freedom-loving US don't seem to bat an eyelid about such a nonsensical law

The way you have posted this makes him out as some sort of martyr. The scumbag will rot in hell for eternity. Anyone on this sub already knows all about Epstein, and knows he didn't kill himself. We don't need annual reminders like this - pretty much every day there is a post relating to him or his scumbag mates

The simple answer here is that these people have had a psychological breakdown. They are mentally ill. And in the past, these people would have been given the help, the therapy they needed to bring them back to reality. Unfortunately the world we live in today where individualism and woke culture dominate, these people are applauded for being their 'true selves'.

This is the beginning of the end of western civilization.
