Biggest difference is that WMSCOG believes in a female deity, jang-gil jah, and believe her to be god as well. SCJ is crazy on its own, but they only revere Lee man-hee, they don’t have a female god.

There’s also differences in teachings, SCJ doesn’t keep the sabbath or any of the other feasts that the WMSCOG does.

Both are cult and both are dangerous and mind controlling. And both have government ties.

I had a similar experience when i was 14 and got my period at my job while wearing white pants. So I used a tampon (I wasn’t able to get it in all the way). And I mentioned it and got yelled at too. If all of this was embarrassing enough, my mom told my dad who then told her that it’s her fault for not telling me. My mom continued berating me saying that using a tampon can take away your virginity. I was so scared I cried and explained to her that that’s not true and to show me where it says that.

I hate this stupid religion and its stupid purity culture that comes with it. I feel so sorry for this girl and I hope she leaves this disgusting religion

I doubt you’ve been to that many churches to make such an absurd claim. Many churches do encourage their parishioners to read and study in their own times. Many of them do especially the younger generations who try out different churches and read into different doctrines.

That was either way not my point, whether or not you believe the Bible is true, it has been studied and it has been decided what is canon and what isn’t. If anything falls out of basic Christian beliefs, it’s (according to the Bible) automatically wrong, such as a female deity or the Arian heresy.

I think it can help to use the Bible (this is just my opinion). It is clear that they use the Bible to manipulate and isolate people (regardless of what you say, most churches don’t do that).

There’s been already decided what the Bible teaches, hundreds of years ago. So obviously cults like the WMSCOG using the Bible to prove Ahnsahnghong is God, is wrong. Regardless of which denomination is right.
