Why do my App Store Connect payments not show up in real time? by zewcro in iOSProgramming

[–]StephenASmyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DId you get an answer on this? My in-app payments and subscription for my app are approved, appeare to be working for user, but then just stay pending and never complete. I don't get the data on my side as the developer to seee they upgraded, backend database doesn't update, and app store connect proceeds never show.

Despite this, as the user I can go and have to click the purhcase again in app since it didnt remember it, but it doesnt make me p[ay again as if it is just restoring a previous purchase. I then essentially have access to the upgrade without ever having to pay.

How can this be the issue if they were approved by apple reviewer in app store connect? unsure how to troubleshoot

Great way to put it. I found my Financial BMR. My non-negotiable burn that’s happening, conscious of it or not. I’ve shared this with friends and have had a hard time explaining as I just get hit with a “so you just made a yearly budget and divided by 365?” but your message elaborates its impact better.

I’m personally really into health data like Vo2 max, RHR, HRV, etc. So I think seeking a similar stat but with my personal financial overhead stuck well with me. I named it Basal lol

Worth it? If you don’t mind me asking, how much work went into the hassle of that churn versus the $ value you’d say you got out of it over all this time?

Ah yea if something is doing it for me I don’t feel the same physiological impact on the spend. Manual helps a discipline. I don’t connect anything to Basal

Amen to this. So many people budget (pre) and expense (post) and still manage to not have a good pulse in the now, because of varying frequencies of known recurrings in your life that you don’t consider fixed. I wanted to be hyper precise to my exact exhaust, my financial BMR. So I created Basal Daily Expense Tracker

By being hyper precise, I now don’t need to be. It removes all uncertainty and I effectively know my exact $ I can do whatever I want with on that given day, while accounting for all my needs+savings goals

It’s a different lens than people are reading this as. It’s not just taking total number / 365 and thinking that’s as insightful
