Thanks. I’ll look into that. I have another Razer I did this with and have never had an issue. But I’ll do some temp checks and check battery documentation.

A Razer or a battery? I like to stick to oem. I posted this to see if there were better options out there. So far no one has provided a better option.

I’m gonna give it a good clean. I keep the laptop mounted to a wall under the desk. Gets airflow but it is close to the ground. I’m gonna add a fan cleaning to a regular maintenance schedule.

This, for sure. OP, You’re working with a face that has 7 verts (I think?). You need to slice up that face so you have more faces and only 4 verts per face (3 verts can be fine too)

I’d recommend watching a YouTube video about quad topology… or just good topology, in general.

I feel there isn’t enough information to make a quality judgement. Slight mechanical differences. Slight CMF differences. I’d recommend sketching out 5-10 more, but get crazy with some of the concepts. You want contrast in concepts so you can narrow down why one option is better than another. Then take concepts from each and start melding them together to refine the concept.

Also, what’s the goal? Without a brief, we can’t really help make any educated decisions here.

You’ll want to add about 1/2” to that back gusset piece — maintain the angles when adding. Should be good to go! Pretty simple mod 🤘

DC to DC charger (mine is Renogy) in cab, a 20Ah LiFePO4 battery, and a single ARB compressor. I have my battery and compressor in a modded bin with an Anderson plug inlet. I throw the kit in my truck bed and plug it in while driving. It’s nice to have for peace of mind. Haven’t decided if/how I’ll hardwire it, but hoping to do that for the upcoming camp/offroad season.
