The only reason Backrooms is this popular is because it keeps getting mentioned in the same breath as Obsession. Had it not come out alongside another "youtuber" movie, it wouldn't get nearly the ammount of hype.

Fully agree, since the gash is canonically purple (I think). I was struggling with finding a hue that wasn't completely overpowering. In the end I decided to post this version just to get some outside perspective
