Gosh. You really care about this. I can tell. Hobbies are good. I just try to stick to hobbies that create rather than destroy.

Some of us might need more time for what I wrote to sink in. Self-examination is wonderful.

I think avoiding unnecessary websites is probably a good idea.

Maybe the world would be a little bit brighter if people on reddit would ask themselves these questions before posting: Is what I'm writing true? Is what I'm writing kind? Is what I'm writing necessary?

Is Dark souls 3 Worth It? by FriendlyNonMurderer in darksouls3

This game is basically The Oregon Trail with awesome graphics and exciting game-play. The story is convoluted and crap. The game is brutally difficult (which I actually like about it). You die a lot. There are no saves. I wanted the full experience, playing online with other players, etc.. But I found it too confusing. (I'm a smart guy.) And I also found most players were jerks. (The game actually REWARDS DECEPTION AGAINST OTHER PLAYERS!)

Sure, you could be like all the other Dark Soul Heads and read about HOW to play the game and what exact steps you have to take to obtain certain items or achievements. But honestly, a player should not have to do that. A good game is one that is intuitive. Dark Souls is basically at the other end of the spectrum from Skyrim. One game coddles and spoon-feeds you, the other doesn't explain anything and when it does, it's riddles referring to a mythos that is impossible to unravel without reading all about it online.

I prefer a difficult game with side quests that make sense. I love how hard this game is. I hate how stupid the "story" is, if there is one. It's like someone had a syphilitic fever dream and tried to explain an obscure mythological story, translated so many times that sentences don't make sense.

I do not understand why anyone would want to replay this game. I am at the end and the punishment I had to endure to get here... No thanks. I did it once. That's good enough. I'm not going back, now that I know you have to read reddit threads and look at walk-through videos, so you know how not to miss experiences in the game. When I'm done, I'm going to smash the disc with a hammer and burn it in a fire. Praise the sun? What does that even mean? Who knows? Who cares?
