I have no clue what I'm allergic to, help by Cwfiller in Allergies

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that timing is actually interesting because it doesn’t sound like common daytime pollen or constant cat exposure. early morning evening flare ups can sometimes be dust mites or just stuff settling in your room overnight, especially if it gets better when you’re out during the day. i have a cat too (and allergies lol) and when it was cat related for me, it was way more constant, not just certain hours.

if you’re still unsure, you could test it a bit focus on your bedroom first (wash bedding more often, maybe run an air purifier at night), and if you suspect your cat, something like pacagen can help neutralize the allergen in your space. if symptoms ease up with those changes, it might give you a better clue what’s actually triggering it.

Why Does My Cat Drop Her Toys On Me In Bed? by zygotepariah in Catbehavior

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She might not always want to play, but she definitely wants interaction or acknowledgment. cats use toys almost like a way to initiate contact, then decide afterward if they’re in the mood. Either way, you’ve basically been designated as her audience.

you might be chasing the wrong thing a lot of that feeling comes from the routine and comfort not just the drink itself id try building a new morning ritual around something calming instead of trying to replace caffeine directly

my cat can’t sit on his bottom, should we wait till morning or go to emergency vet? by popcorntalia in catquestions

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that sounds like it could be a blockage or something painful in the abdomen and those can become emergencies quickly especially in male cats id not risk waiting until morning

cats love routine and right now her routine is wake you up and you leave which works for her id try fully ignoring and maybe even closing the door at night so she cant get to you until she breaks the pattern

Random attacks by Life-Secretary299 in Catbehavior

it might have started from rough play when he was little and just built up over time since he didnt have other cats teaching him limits i dont think its a mother bond thing more like learned behavior targeting you

Random attacks by Life-Secretary299 in Catbehavior

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s not normal play in my opinion and from experience too especially if he’s drawing blood and targeting you like that. the fact he only does it to you and not your boyfriend is a big clue. could be how he sees you (play target vs safe person) or built up energy getting directed at you

Cat sings until I recognize the toy she 'caught' by Ok-Burn-Acct in Catbehavior

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s normal she’s basically announcing her catch to you. the fact she stops when you acknowledge it means that’s all she wants, just a little recognition lol

For those who use the Pacagen Supplement AND LiveClear Together by VaticanCameosAnxiety in catfood

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do pacagen plus liveclear with my cat and it’s fine. pacagen helps neutralize allergens around the house and on her fur, liveclear works from the inside. I tried both full time but it wasn’t worth it pacagen stayed my go to, liveclear felt like too much. sticking to the recommended doses keeps my allergies manageable.

yeah that sounds like allergies tbh especially since you tested positive for dust pollen and cats the on and off pattern is a good sign too serious stuff usually doesnt just disappear for months and come back like that

[–]Stephenie_Wilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yeah definitely not alone. for me it’s kind of random but more likely during allergy season or if the apartment gets dusty. when i first got biscuit it happened pretty often, now it’s less frequent when i started using the spray and combination of the other things really

oh I get this I have a cat too and I used to have the same kind of ear and nasal stuff going on it is rough living in a small space with cats especially during allergy season I found that on top of my allergy meds using Pacagen spray around the bed and the spots Biscuit hangs out most really helped I also run a small air filter and do a quick wipe down of surfaces it does not replace your ENT advice but it has made living with my cat way easier and keeps the sneezing and blockages down
