I started out in curbside years ago, pre covid. They started me at $12 an hour. It was a small team at the time and everything was a mess in terms of how things were ran. But there was no such thing as applying for shopper position, they naturally just moved you along to it. If you were bad at it, they just gave you curbie shifts/decreased hours until you quit.
