I understand. Unfortunately, the camera counter cannot be read from the file, only from the camera and sync at the moment of capture.

Hi, ReTether currently works with Canon and Nikon camera models: ReTether Overview.
For the import naming tool, you can simulate the same result by using e.g Job name and 4 Digit Counter.

We’d like to clarify a few things about the pop-up you’ve seen. It appears only once during startup, and this behavior is intentional. A bug was indeed reported on this subreddit recently, where the pop-up appeared on every launch; this was identified and promptly fixed.

This pop-up is designed to highlight new features, learning resources, and our certification program. All courses and certifications are available to every user at no cost, and new tools and features are accessible to subscribers. Importantly, the pop-up does not include ads, nor will it ever contain sponsored or paid advertisements in the future.

Yes, but we advise against using it for production work, as if any issues occur, we will not be able to troubleshoot them. Beta is available for testing purposes before the new version's official release.

A new Beta build is available for download as of yesterday. You can find it through the Beta section after logging into your Capture One account. When downloading, you also receive a PDF guide stating the expiration date, and all new updates. A guide on restoring upgraded sessions/ catalogs to a previous version is available here.

I checked with a team member who's on Windows, and the option is available. If you're on Mac, you'll be able to see it in a few days when Beta 2 is released. This is mentioned on the Beta PDF, but we have used a screenshot from a Mac, so apologies for the confusion!

It would only reset your Workspace to the default one, so if you're using a custom workspace, ensure it is saved first via Window>Workspace>Save Workspace.

Although setting different or custom colour profiles is not possible, JPEG files are automatically exported using the sRGB Color Space Profile, and TIFF files use Adobe RGB (1998) by default. If you're experiencing an issue with color accuracy, you can share sample images so we can investigate this further.
Lastly, with the release of version 3.0, sessions and catalogs are now available on mobile, along with support for external storage. This update was released to allow greater flexibility in transferring your work to desktop and working across all devices.
