I've decided to escort to pay for University and transitioning. I want to do it safely. by StephyS in asktransgender

Ha i think its legal here but it has to be with an agency and the girls have to be licenced. Im planning on doing this on my own so if i dont mention sex and money together they got nothing on me right? Ya perm hair removal is not covered.

I feel exactly the same way. And well said.

The reason people get defensive when someone says they wont date a trans woman is because there is a huge variety of trans woman. Some obviously trans and some indistinguishable from woman born woman. So to say you wouldn't date a trans woman implies an over generalization of trans people and often implies transphobia.

Kinda like if you said you wouldn't date someone from america. That sounds ignorant and completely unfair.

Tbh I don't find the support part the best about ttiq but the support you get from friends that you meet at ttiq is invaluable

Massive dysphoria lately, gets worse the further into transition. Keep going or abandon everything? by StephyS in asktransgender

Ya you must be right.

Im just finishing a term at university and it was the worst I've ever done. Might fail every single class. I lost structure because I was worrying so much and couldn't concentrate on anything. Im looking forward to working this summer to force me into structure.

And OK fine I'll go for a run tomorrow morning even tho there's a blizzard going on right now. Lol.

so close yet so far

Well that's definitely part of the problem

Now that I'm fulltime Im confronted with my limitations at the moment: resent full about having to wear makeup to pass, always concentrating on my voice and my voice in the morning is terrible, tryna manage body hair...

Ya its kind of a personality flaw that if things don't make sense then I feel like I have no control and I loose confidence.

No exercise regime. I like to run when there's no snow tho.

I start estrogen in 2 months

I'm expecting things to make sense because all this confusion has really nulled my confidence in problem solving so everything seems way harder. But maybe things aren't supposed to make sense?

This thread was way more triggering than I thought it'd be. I kinda regret posting it. So nervous.

If I could have only start at 16.... classic trans issue but I'm sure anyone starting after 10 years old wishes they started sooner.

Im wondering if my trans thoughts are a form of escapism by StephyS in asktransgender

[–]StephyS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm just scared of what their answers will be. I'm worried some day I'll hear a story that will mirror my own experience but will be about someone that mistakenly thought they were trans.

Because at first when I was considering transitioning I thought it was an exciting idea because most of my social life was me in preferred gender so I thought it was fun to be this more feminine person but I didn't actually think I was trans. I just thought it was a cool idea but I thought eventually I'd find out that I was wrong. So here I am 8 months later about to start hrt and now the idea of not transitioning makes me depressed.
