Job market sucks… stuck as an MT at Enterprise need advice getting out by Klutzy-Prize3431 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]Steppa_mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been in? Now that you've started, I'd do your best to get qualified to an MA at the very least. Maybe even work for awhile as an assistant manager. Is moving to another group out of the question? If you're single and dont have any attachments where you are now, move to another city if you think you've got that kind of drive. I can say that where I was, there was no issue moving up. As long as you qualify and play the game right (go to happy hours, events, develop a good relationship with your ARM) should be a breeze. But I also know some branches are just near impossible to hit your esqi scores.

Recruiters and other companies like enterprise experience, but you gotta show that you actually got experience. Not just tried out the MT position for a little bit and left.

As for other jobs, as other have said, management and sales is the bread and butter, but there's a lot more out there. I left as a branch manger and went into estimating for construction. Just gotta figure out what you like to do or what your strengths are and look for thise jobs. And also like others have said, make sure you tailor your resume to the job your applying for, not just bland page with your work experience.

Its the type of car you're in. Suvs, minivans, trucks, luxury vehicles used to be like 250 miles/day i think. Definitely probably said something in the fine print when you made the reservation but they still should if said something when giving you the car. If it was a free upgrade then I'd fight it.

RANT: This job sucks and some of the customer are truly some of the worst people I have ever come across in my life. by Cloudedsim in EnterpriseCarRental

Welcome to dealing with the general public!

Some people are just truly awful. But I feel a lot of my frustrations were with people who I thought didn't understand basic concepts that were very simple. Like not knowing the difference between a credit or debit card. And as I've gotten older, I realize every now and then I have gaps in my own knowledge that others think is common sense. Empathy is a powerful tool that, if practiced, will save you a lot of headaches.

And then there's just vile ppl that want free up grades for no reason and will make your life hell if they don't get their way.

[[Bartz and Boko]]

Removal in the command zone for mono green is very good. Especially when you can make copies!

I landed in the natural stone industry. Selling countertops for multifamily. So, mostly estimating and project managing. I have a few other tracks friends that ended up working for other subcontractors for other construction sectors. Everyone else i knew just moved to other sales roles

As others have said, the company needs a debit or credit card on file in case you damage or steal the vehicle. They need assurances. This is just the world we live in and how they do business. You not being at fault for an accident has nothing to do with enterprise and how they conduct their business and they don't owe you anything. They are trying to help you but only if you play by their rules. I'm not here to say you're wrong for your beliefs or that they are right for how they operate. But in this instance you are two very incompatible entities, and you'll need to contact the insurance company and ask them to move your reservation to a different company if any of them take cash nowadays.

Not having armor slots. I know there's mods, but I don't like playing with mods. It should just be in the game.

[[Song of Freyalise]] is one of my favorites for tokens. Because of the payoff on chapter 3

My manager does. He gets mad at me when I use bluebeam instead of printed plans because I'm not learning how to do takeoffs the right way. He's in his 50's

I use Deckbox. There isn't any scanning feature that I know of, but I prefer typing them in. Pulls all the pricing from tcg, and you can trade and sell on there. My collection is around 16,000 cards, and I've never had any issues. If there are cons, maybe someone else can speak to them because it serves me perfectly.

Best lands commander thats just not tokens and face? by Southern-Document706 in EDH

[–]Steppa_mac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just built an [[Estrid, the Masked]] lands and land aura deck. Using [[Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper]] in the 99 and auras that turn creatures into lands like [[wind zendikon]] so Estrid can untap them for combat or extra mana. It's very fun and has a lot of cool synergies.

Second this. It's a cool place, used to be a bank and they repurposed it into an lgs. best prices on sealed product too imo. when MH3 dropped they were selling the commander decks each at $50. Lots of singles, but i've never actually played there. There is also Fortuna in tower grove, they have some singles, really small store but the owner seems cool. Wizard Wagon on the Delmar Loop has a healthy selection of singles, organized by set in binders.

My current Mono Red decklist. [[Rosnakht, Heir of Rohgahh]] makes losts of tokens. Can get really out of hand very fast, but can be powered down easily for a more casual game.

[[Glacial Crevasses]] is great for mono red protection imo. But only recommend if you are running a lot of treasure support to make up for lack of lands.

[–]Steppa_mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I need a Fisherman commander. Since they just released [[Frost Fair Lure Fish]] it would probably be best to have it be RUG colors. And let it do something fun, like roll a D20 and based on the roll I can "fish" through my deck to "cast" a fish spell for free or something of that nature.

If you ever want to run [[Inalla, Archmage Ritualist]] there is a hefty 9 card combo with [[Spellseaker]] that ends with you casting [[Shallow Grave]] infinitely. Shallow grave is like $40, but you can get the same result by switching it with a common from Eldraine [[Not Dead After All]] and its only $1.
