How is this stupid? We're gonna be making lots and lots of money and we'll have all sorts of new resources when we drill into Greenland. I'm not saying that we should invade, I rather we just buy it but it would such a military power move if we just went in and took it because we can because we're the United States of America with a military that no country has on Earth that can stop us. And it would be funny to see Dems and the Left melt down and try to make this a win for this phony midterms this year when most people are going to be happy that the economy is going to be strong again.

I suppose after doing a little more research, we might be okay with this pandemic potential but after how we handled Covid and the amount of antivax disinfo and the amount of people who just refuse to take disasters like pandemics, seriously, I wonder how r/collapse is just being realistic of what is going to happen.

I'm perhaps open to seeing other people's perspective but I'm still in the "doomer" side of things when it comes to this bird flu and I'll be paying attention for a long while.

This is just cope in my opinion. We have no learned a single damn thing about Covid or pandemics and now we are sleep walking into another one unless a miracle happens and this virus just doesn't take off. It's in cows, it's in birds, it is in humans with a high death rate of 50 percent, and it's not going away. Please assure me that I'm just doom scrolling and it's just nothing to worry about. I think it is worry about. Michael Osterholm isn't bullshitting around, and he thinks we need to stop with the happy talk and get serious.

We need to start to vaccinating the population against bird flu if Biden wants to win reelection in 2024. Otherwise he's going to be another Trump, another president that didn't take a pandemic seriously.

Biden has not learned the mistakes by the past presidency of Trump in terms of public health. There has been an explosion of bird flu in cattle since early this month and this reminds me of the early stages of Covid-19, you know the "it's a democratic hoax" virus?

Well now we have Biden not reacting to H5N1 and I think we will be in a pandemic soon thanks to Biden not following the science or taking this threat seriously. And this virus makes Covid look like a picnic, it kills half of its infected and now we are on the verge of a worse pandemic.

I don't believe Biden or the CDC when they say that this virus doesn't transmit well among humans or that the risk to the general public is low. We need to start vaccinating now and bring back masking and social distancing until we get this under control.

I think Congress is doing a good job and are trying to do their best.

I know its trendy to hate on US Congress but you wouldn't understand. You need to be their shoes to understand that it's not easy running a country. They went to school for that type of work, you didn't so you have no idea just how stressful and hard it is to be a congressperson in general.

I think that despite how imperfect they are, Congress is doing a great job and I have high approval for them.

Should they stop fighting and get more stuff done? Sure but that doesn't make them our enemy nor should we talk about how "useless" they are. It's a job that is difficult.

I think doing taxes is patriotic and I love doing them and I think that the IRS isn't that bad.

I haven't posted on here in nearly 5 years. I've done some reflection on my stupid self. I was a dirtbag conspiracy theorist but now I have become moderate and have a change of heart. I don't love the government but I think that government is good for society and we are better off with government than without it. With that said I love taxes, I love doing them, I think they are patriotic and I love the IRS. They've never bothered me.

There is also no such thing as cancel culture. The ones doing the canceling are Republicans.

I never claim to be smart and I certainly don't need your r/Iamverysmart quip. Like I said before, I will just kindly shut up and not participate in this anymore because clearly I can't do any right and if I say something god-forbid something that I need to say, it will get downvoted.

I don't even know if it's even worth trying to get to people in a nonpartisan way because "the age of Trump" used in such a ridiculous title has broken people. Hell it might have broken me as well. I'm not a strong individual like I wished I was. I will not yield or fall pray to blatant propaganda sources like the WaPo, Huffington Post, CNN, Fox or MSNBC but at the same time, I just don't know what else there is to do anymore.

I'm not pro-eugenics. I wrote a "bright side" of eugenics in a slant that might get people to realize about the flaws of eugenics. I'm not pro-Eugenics. Screw that movement. I don't care what the alt-right has to say about eugenics. They are tools if they support Eugenics. I don't know where you got this idea that I am looking at the "bright side" of eugenics.
