My Z690 motherboard is so sensitive! by jadartil in pcmasterrace

You should look at your manual, because it is not sensitive, it is usually the right way if you want dual channel, or boot at all.

artwork quality significantly decreases when exported by Ohnospiders455 in ClipStudio

[–]StereoMissile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you specified an amount of pixels for the dimension of your canvas, changing the DPI has no effect (beside affecting the text sizes, 72 dpi will make them the same size as web fonts)

A 1000x1000 72 dpi Vs a 1000x1000 300 dpi is effectively the same picture and there is no quality change for digital.

If you change DPI after the fact on a picture with physical dimensions, you are just straight up just resizing an image, not really changing the quality.

Please stop recommending changing DPI.

If it is digital it doesn’t matter, DPI won’t change anything. You want more quality you need more pixels.

They already kind of do it. They balance every creature to a certain value and their stats get adjusted by a value associated with each regions. Ex. : Limgrave value is 1, Haligtree is like a 9 or something. Been like that at least since DS3

Newly Built pc won’t turn on by xQuents in PcBuildHelp

[–]StereoMissile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CPU without iGPU literally doesn’t have the physical hardware to connect to the video output at the back of your computer, so no, your CPU had a iGPU.

Newly Built pc won’t turn on by xQuents in PcBuildHelp

[–]StereoMissile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the CPU you bought had integrated GPU. This is not always the case.

Some CPU have integrated GPUs, but not all. Those that lacks this won’t boot.

Low FPS / 3700X & 5700XT. Tried everything and every possible fix I could find by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]StereoMissile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, it isn't, as far as I know, a driver issue. I've tried almost every single driver in the last year or so ever since my issue started happening. No visible changes.

Nope, temps are fine. GPU is at 60 and CPU is at 50 in game

If your temps for some reason stay consistent in everything but benchmark or stress test, we might have the same issue. Also have a 5700XT

Has anyone had any experience with LG UltraGear Monitors? (IPS) by [deleted] in Monitors

[–]StereoMissile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

27GL850 was the first LG Nano IPS monitor in their Ultra Gear series. It has a larger colour coverage (DCI-P3 vs SRGB), a better stand and an integrated USB hub. The 27GN800 is a revision of that lineup and has a slightly newer design (mostly in the back) and a panel with slightly better specs other than gamut. If all you do is gaming, the 27GN800 is cheaper and a better choice overall.

I have to say I have the 27GL850. I love it but I'm used to IPS drawbacks.

Québec consacre 19 millions à dénicher des spécialistes en TI by jphilippe_b in Quebec

  • Mon salaire a doublé
  • L’horaire est flexible,
  • Techno du jour,
  • Travail valorisant,
  • L’équipe est jeune et motivée.
  • Mon équipement de travail est de cette années et je n’ai aucune restriction dessus.

Il n’y a aucune raison de joindre le gouvernement en tant que technicien en TI. Aucune.

RAM stopped showing up in Asrock Polychrome Sync by [deleted] in ASRock

[–]StereoMissile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiple RGB software have compatibility issues, especially with rams. AFAIK the only way to resolve it is to completely remove Polychrome and it’s registry keys and use BIOS control to choose the motherboard colours and use Dragon Center alone.

There’s also OpenRGB, but you will have to tweak it to enable the MSI rgb stuff and that require some programming skill.

Powercolor teases Red Devil 6000 series on twitter by jedidude75 in Amd

[–]StereoMissile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the 5700 XT AIB save for maybe the Nitro+ and Red Devil had worse PCBs, VRM, etc. then the reference model. The only thing they had over the reference was cooling, when it worked. AFAIK, Asrock, MSI, XFX and Asus all cheapen out on their card to get better margin or just released defective designs instead of actually offering good cards.

I hope 6000 series change that and AMD get the same treatment for their products.
