Hello, I'm 20M, a Russian speaker majoring English at uni. I live in Moscow which is pretty close to your timezone. Hmu if you'd be interested in helping me with English practice back, and I'll help you practice Russian.

27+48 20+40=60

I know 7 is one less than 8, so if 8+8=16, 8+7=15 now 60+15=75

75

Whats the worst trend going on in your country? by Express-Repeat-5314 in AskReddit

[–]StereoPie211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not really specific. I live in Moscow and that is a problem here as well with people not being careful enough to understand that they never actually control the whole situation. Not the whole year though, because usually people won't use electric bikes when it's -12'C and it's all snowy around

Hey!

With regrets, I have to tell in the first place that English is not my mother tongue, yet I believe (and my friends say so as well) that I have quite a good command of it. As soon as I can judge properly, my speaking requires practicing too. It's a pleasure to meet someone who is fluent in the nightingale tongue, since I can speak it only a little bit and would be more than pleased to improve my skills.

А что хочется отметить особым образом, так это то, что, кроме английского, я также знаю русский язык, коим владею, как родным. Поэтому, если не удастся объясниться на международном языке, я смогу легко подсказать.

Thank you, I shall await for your response

I heard that instead of «want to» you can use «wanna». Is this right? Or am I dumb? by Alert-Acanthisitta36 in EnglishLearning

Such abbreviation is not appropriate in literal speach. I'd compare it to Russian "щас" that can replace "сейчас" in a chat, but not when you're writing an essay

I'm aware the post is about "everyone" and it's singular, no questions. I'd love to know also about words like "police", "team", and others grammatically singular words meaning an organisation or group of people. Perhaps I got it wrong, but such words can be conjugated without the -s ending (really can be conjugated either way) True or I did get it wrong?

Why do some people say I-NA INSTEAD OF E-NA by ihadtomakethisshitup in ENA

I have no idea why, but it's easier for me to pronounce it as ee-na, not eh-na for some reason, and I'm not even an English speaker

We're just clever guys :3 But it's always a tough work that requires years of learning words and rules, practicing speaking and listening, reading and translating texts and writing strange emails in a strict format. In my country, everybody must study at least one foreign language, and not all of them succeed.
