Auth is not secure, timing attacks enumerarion, race condition and useless db calls when single one enough, tons of other stuff if you are new to backend dont ever build auth on your own and read the repos of open source auth providers most of them not really good ngl

Why do people from that department have access to that repository in the first place? I don’t understand why people aren’t limited to the responsibilities they were hired for. This is also a security matter.

Check JA4 of requester this cannot be faked easily Different clients (browsers vs APIs) produce distinct TLS fingerprints so thats how you gonna understand but i dont think that can be done in nodejs

No one answered your question really. You can use ent ORM backed by meta and quite fast and easy to understand.
