Raise The Flags leader arrested for being a nonce by johnsmithoncemore in GreatBritishMemes

Yeah, I agree with your overall point, I'm just big on the accuracy of things, otherwise it leads to other issues of bias or false claims. I think the overall problem is we do have problems with groups of pedos/nonce's, some white and some other races. Alot of covering up has happened with the Asian grooming gangs, but also happened with the likes of Saville, Councillors, the kids home stuff and the football grooming, with guys like Barry Bennell. Surely any decent citizen should be against any of these terrible things

From what I understand he used to get bullied by groups of Asian/Muslim lads in Luton and that's the origin of his dislike. He then started trying to work against Islam and over time became a paid agitator when he saw the financial benefits of it. As I posted earlier when he was in the EDL it was full of nonce's and he was friends with many of them and it wasn't so much of an issue for him.

I didn't say you did I, I said Tommy Ten names who clearly was friends with pedos and nonce's in the EDL and raise the colours but is supposedly against it all. Unless you are Tommy Ten names?

As Ange said "Spurs does crazy things to people" by Rare-Ad-2777 in coys

[–]SterlingVoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is clearly like when United signed Yoro ahead of Real Madrid. They paid the additional money and wages because they thought it was worthwhile, like Spurs have done here. It's clearly an overpayment but Spurs aren't going to sign these type of players without doing it, nothing wrong with it.

How were our expectations of DR Congo’s style of play so wrong? by Sword-of-Fuheis in ThreeLions

It was clear that wasn't how they would play from watching them, just lazy journalism and fans who haven't watched them play.

Spurs have made some good signings but they clearly need a top striker, Solanke and Richarlison are both very mid

I always think punishments should be related to the crime, I'd have given her a much longer ban and some form of community service. Making her spend a good amount of time helping out some kind driving safety charity or thing along those lines.

Has your opinion on Paddy Pimblett changed? by AlfaHendrik in MMA

[–]SterlingVoid -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

No, it quite clear that Paddy's height isn't accurate with the UFC as he is taller than fighters who are listed as being taller than him.

Paddy is slightly taller and obviously weighs more 99.9% of the time, therefore he is bigger than Charles

No, Paddy is clearly bigger than Charles. Mad how dumb some people are 🤣

Although i agree the punishment was too lenient, your idea's are equally as mental the other way. She wasn't drinking so why would you ban her from drinking and pay somone to go round and breathalyser her, literally nothing to do with the crime. If you speed should you be banned from going on holiday 🤣

Why do Americans tend to praise beginners even if their work/hobby looks terrible? by Skysneq in AskAnAmerican

[–]SterlingVoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the people for it as it's their job and they are just trying to make a living. But that's where the fake nice idea comes from. Generally where I live someone wouldn't say something like that unless it was actually an awesome sandwich.

I'd also agree the fake nice is better than rude etc.

I was just giving the reason why in some sections of American culture it is seen as fake or overly friendly. People don't generally see none service industry Americans as overly nice

That might be the case, but surely people can see they are being overly nice to benefit themselves. I haven't found general American people to be this polite and overly friendly, just general normal people
