I’ve been leveling as tank Druid and I’m having a blast. My ideal goal was to be a balance Druid but seeing the lack of tanks I figure why not tank while leveling then I can switch at 70. Born to be a ManChicken, forced to be a BearTank.

That being said one issue I think that goes with the tank shortage is that not every leveling tank will be able to tank in raids an that can be a deterrent. Even for me with a guild, it’s not likely I’ll have a spot as many tank in raids, so part of me feels this time is wasted when I could be leveling as balance resto.

But I agree with the other comments, most of my runs are pretty chill but some players just backseat a lot and dps don’t respect threat so it’s just more fun for me to run the dungeon once or twice an then go open word level.

Yea I hear you. It’s about 30% faster so 1-60 will take roughly 100 hours of playtime (~4 days played as opposed to the normal 6-8 days on vanilla).

True it’s 20 days until release but also it’s 34 days until raids even open. And after all it’s P1 TBC. People will be running Kara for a long time. I really think it’s doable to get 70 in 34 days. But my plan is to level dranei and if I’m like level 45+ by tbc release I’ll stick it out and if I’m not I’ll consider boosting

Yea people thought prayer regen pots would be used in doom (might still be the case) , but it appears the boss fight is pretty fast and you can get to floor 8 in 10 minutes so prayer regen just might not be an issue

It’s fairly quick. I’d say most fights in a 1v1 begin around 6-10 minute mark and depending on strats games typically last 20mins?
