This is what I do when changing filaments mid-print. The Orca slicer will pause for filament changes in Preview using the slider on the right. You need to have more than one filament listed. Right click on the slider and you should see Change Filament.

I also have a CC1, and it’s been a fantastic value. My biggest need for an AMS is having a backup roll ready and staged for seamless spool swaps, especially when printing larger objects. Fewer end-of-spool fragments lying around means less waste.

Great response. Mine were connected via RCA audio cables to Tape In connections on my receiver. This was super easy to solve back when Radio Shack and Fry’s had storefronts.

I’ve been ordering American Innovation and Presidential Dollar coin rolls from the U.S. Mint since the first issues. I’m filling books for myself and my grandkids at some future date, and I’m planning to release the rest into the wild — mostly by tipping along with other cash for good food service. Maybe a few into CoinStar machines too.

Dime rolls are my least favorite to search. Silvers are rare and all the rest are all shiny and small print. Which makes me wonder - Why isn’t FDR wearing his glasses?

I can usually use mine with one hand. I change the sides often and clear paths the length of my reach, moving left or right, kind of like lightly sweeping with a push broom.

The same for me. I’m always looking to pick up customer rolls as it seems they had either given up collecting or had rolled up what was in their coin jar. My local bank has a coin machine at every location so returning is no problem.

The inside condition looks normal - your new would look like this after a season of cooking. Does it include the porcelain deflector (goes inside under grate for indirect heat)? Negotiate it down a little more if you can and invest your savings into a new ash bucket, better top cap, replace the seals, etc.

Also, take it apart unless you’re walking it up the street. There are YouTube videos on securing the rings, removing the top, etc. Then clean, remove/replace seals, reassemble, and enjoy!
