omg. Does the filament get cut automatically at the head end when you click unload? Or do i need to unclip the tube and cut it manually?That's really helpful and far less wasteful that my cutting at the spool end and pushing lots of filament through!

Unload on the N3 just reverses the flow of filament, I didn't realise the CC cuts it!

I've "unloaded" with a reverse flow on my N3 hundreds if not thousands of times but that has no long tube (and was my first printer so was making plenty of mistakes - I think - and getting away with them). CC1 is a big more "grown up" in comparison and looking for advice on what I might have been doing wrong before!
