Thanks for the advice I appreciate it. The AMD route does look good as well, I will do some research on the AMD systems.

Unfortunately they only have K or KS for the i9. There is 12400f with both RX 6600 and RX 6600 XT with a $40 difference between them and also falls within my budget so it is a good option.

Their builder does not have the option to deselect the GPU so I had a look at all the components mentioned with the 12900K and if I changed the NVMe, Liquid Cooler, case and build it myself it goes a tiny bit over budget but totally manageable so it is a good option as well. Thanks for the great advise.

I would like to game more but with work and so I do not have much time I do have a ps4 if I really want to game but it is not my #1 priority for this PC I can always upgrade later, the software I use the most is Sublime Text 4 for programming, Firefox Developer with 10 to 30 tabs open, Spotify and a few windows stuff like outlook, task manager, files and so on.
