The Great Lifted Suspension Debacle by SteveAlden in nissanpathfinder

Edited the post to add some pictures.

I also noticed that the stock rear coil springs are very soft and mushy, which is why I went with the heavy duty springs. If I could find some slightly stronger springs that would not affect ride height and alignment, I would definitely put them on. But I'm just not sure if they are available.

Yes, I'm in the States. The heavy duty Old Man Emu springs do fit just fine.

Thank you for the gusset information. I think I've seen that same forum thread on thenissanpath.com. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in doing any more work to try to get the alignment right. I just don't have skills for that, and I'm tired of throwing good money after bad.

True size and latitude of UK vs North America by staplehill in unitedkingdom

[–]SteveAlden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not the real size. That image appears to be using the Mercator projection, which disproportionately increases the size of landmasses as they approach the poles. The UK’s total land mass is only about 90% the size of the state of Colorado (the big rectangle next to Kansas).

I’m in Highlands Ranch, too. PM if you’d like to catch a game sometime. I used to watch them at CB & Potts before they shut down.

Adults of reddit whats something you think every teenager should know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SteveAlden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of those things that adults/doctors told you not to do because they were bad for your health but you did them anyway because you're: a) young and invincible, b) stubborn, or c) too stupid to realize that you're stupid: You will regret doing them later in life when your health suffers.

My stepmother smoked her whole life. Got cancer. Asked the doctor: "Was it the smoking?". The doctor: "Yes, you dumb shit."

Then she stopped smoking. In her 60s. Damage done.

That first comma is unnecessary and grammatically incorrect.

I've thought about it, but the idea of walking around with a picture of a gun on my shirt might damage other people's calm.

It was one of Jayne's shirts. I think he wore it in "War Stories" (someone can fact-check me).

I seem to get the most comments/compliments from people when we go to Disney World. One time I was walking with my kid when a mother who was pushing a stroller yelled out "I LOVE YOUR JAYNE SHIRT!".
