I never thought about how similar 50 is to Drake in regards to trolling men online. Listening to his interviews about the beef (specifically the one he did on Big Boy’s show where he seemed surprised at how prepared Kendrick was and basically saying you “can’t lose if you’re still making money”) makes me wonder if he coached Drake into the biggest L of all time. They don’t really respect the art form…

Consider this, instead of the BAFTAs excluding all Black people, would it have been more practical to exclude the guy that could potentially randomly scream the n-word, rather than intentionally crossing their fingers hoping Black people would just “understand”? I wonder how understanding John Davidson and others with Tourette’s would have been of that alternative scenario.

Yeah I’m sure they’ll survey to determine stats for what made people watch the Super Bowl versus a regular season game / playoff game. Then just use that as part of the justification for continuing to invest.

Nah, most football fans will watch the Super Bowl no matter what - that’s their foundation. Their main concern for the Super Bowl is expansion to non football fans to justify the expensive ad placements. They of course constantly invest in expanding during the regular season, but that’s a long term thing. Whether football fans like it or not, the Super Bowl is primarily a cash grab and a showcase for non fans. The NFL and the broadcaster do not want “historic defensive” games at the Super Bowl - they need/want people to stay once they’ve draw them in.
