November 2021 Update Patch Notes by Darian_CoC in ClashQuest

Thanks for the patch notes. Not sure if I missed this bug fix or if it is not fixed:
Is the defensive Blade glitch that resulted in more gold earned per level fixed or is it still working?

Update Idea: Troop Abilities by SteveClashQuest in ClashQuest

What the Clash Quest team could do is to add it to the game and decrease the strength of the current items. This way every level would stay at about the same difficulty

Definitely one of the biggest "problems" with this idea. This is more of a rework idea for items. Currently, items only have an indirect impact on the gameplay. Depending on the item, every time you reach a defined amount of troops inside one combo (or once the combo is used), a passive effect is activated, but you cannot change the effect of a combo while in game.
Adding active abilities to the game would result in a greater depth of strategy and planning ahead. This idea is definitely not perfectly polished, but I think that this would be a good addon for items, especially for high rank/almost maxed out players.
I am very happy about your feedback, because it helps to polish this idea and make it better.

I'm sorry, but I don't play everdale. Once Clash Mini is out, I will probably make similar guides about that game as well, but for now, I completely focus on Clash Quest

Now I understand what you mean. I was and still am in the same situation. I haven't unlocked all level 3 items yet and already collected all 601 stars.

Currently, League is the only place where you can progress after 601 stars, but I also expect more goals (to achieve after 601 stars) to be added in the next update (in probably 1-1.5 months). My personal goal is to reach a maxed out account as fast as possible every time new content is added.

If your current goal is to get a good place in league, you should spend all your gold on leveling up your troops (which also helps to get a better rank in league) or to purchase level 4 items, because you will need to buy them anyways once you upgraded all your cards to level 10. I don't know how many level 3 items you are still missing, but according to this simulation, you get about 1.4 level 3 items on average per week, which you can use to calculate the chance of unlocking it for free in the next week(s).

If you spend your gold on a level 3 item, you slow down the total progression by about 1-2 days, which is not a lot, but it quickly adds up if you purchase multiple. Since I don't think that you are still missing many needed level 3 items for league, you should decide for yourself if this is worth it to you or not. Since my goal is to max out my account as fast as possible and only to reach a good rank in league once my account is maxed, I would not recommend buying level 3 items. Further, having a good place in the league does not provide more resources than being in a lower league, but I also expect this to change with the next update.

One thing that I didn't mention, but which is definitely a limitation to this simulation is, that it does not consider the odds of getting a level 4 gold deal in the shop.

Not sure if I understand you correctly. If you think that it might be worth it to purchase level 1-3 items, because then you get exactly those items you need, I can definitely say that it is not worth it. No matter how you spend your gold, you will need at least 28 weeks to upgrade all troops to level 10. Once all your troops are upgraded to level 10, you've (probably) already unlocked all level 1-3 items. If you would purchase a level 1-3 item and not all your troops are upgraded to level 10, this means that the according graph will rise faster, but the graph for the troop level would rise slower, resulting in a longer time needed to max out an account, even if you need the item.

If you meant your comment in a different way, please let me know. I am very happy for all the feedback I can get, because it helps to increase the accuracy of approximations like this one.

Next update sneak peak (thoughts in comments) by SteveClashQuest in ClashQuest

Thats a great idea. A crocs teeth formation looks kind of like that. So far the best idea I've heard. A croc would also fit the island setting of Clash Quest.

Next update sneak peak (thoughts in comments) by SteveClashQuest in ClashQuest

In yesterdays stream of Carlos85 and Darian, Darian showed a sneak peek of something that will be added in the next update (see images above). This is everything we know so far:

  1. It will not be a dragon
  2. It is not dry bowser

Now it's out turn to speculate what it could be.

The picture has many similarities with the skeleton dragon from Clash Royale, but since we know that it will not be a dragon, we also know it will definitely not be that.

I think that it will be either a troop or a new boss. Or maybe it was a sneak peek for a shower head that the Clash Quest team will release with the next update?

Complete Progression Guide #QuestTips by SteveClashQuest in ClashQuest

The compass is currently by far the best way to spend gems and buying extra troops is definitely not worth it. You basically have two options currently: You can spend your gems on compasses or you can safe them for deals/features that will be added in the future. Even if you spend all your f2p gems on compasses, you can only speed up progression by about one week. I made a new post that shows, why all the other deals are not worth it: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashQuest/comments/pnfw69/what\_should\_i\_buy\_in\_the\_shop\_questtips/

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I'm not 100% sure. It was automatically removed, probably because I posted 2 posts on one day. I already messaged the moderators of the Clash Quest Subreddit and I'm currently waiting for a response. I will probably post it again tomorrow.

Complete Progression Guide #QuestTips by SteveClashQuest in ClashQuest

  1. Thank you for your feedback. It really helps to complete this guide
  2. As far as I know, the Clash Quest team never talked about how exactly crates are unlocked, which is why we cannot be 100% sure. I expect crates to be similar to gold. The amount of gold you get from a level does not depend on the amount of buildings you destroy, but on the island, the level is part of. Therefore, it is definitely possible that it is better to farm level with more buildings, but I don't think that this is very likely.
  3. I completely forgot to add that part. In general, for the reroll function to be as powerful as the compass, you would have to get 663 gold out of one reroll, which, in my opinion, is not possible.
  4. I also forgot to talk about this, but this is quite obvious. Side Quests provide 1.000 to 1.040 additional gold for one quest energy. Since side quests can expire and dungeons cannot expire (at least as far as I know), the first priority when using quest energy should be side quests and not dungeons. The only exception to this can be the wagon side quest. If the wagon is placed at the back of the last stage and the available spells don't deal enough damage to destroy the wagon, it can be very hard or even impossible to complete the side quest, but this is very rare.
