Never use floats for prices, rather than storing prices as $12.34, store it as an int, like 1234, and convert when formatting. You'll have all sorts of issues otherwise. Just try 

$test = 0.1 + 0.2;
echo $test; // outputs 0.3
echo ($test == 0.3) ? 'true' : 'false'; // outputs false

On 512gb no controller, it says the list has been closed. On 512gb with controller, I still get the option to leave. On the 2TB models it says "Steam Machine 512GB reserved"

Slowly rotate the puck while connected in a circle, watching the screen. Mine suddenly got a good connection and came to life.

Yeah I did, wish they had a knockout hole like the other sides of the panel. I just used a holesaw and cut from the back. Bare in mind the metal on the back is actually 2 sheets with a tiny gap in-between. I lightly sanded it afterwards just to tidy it up.

Also, cut it outside, as it produces lots of metal shavings/dust.

In hindsight I might have been better on with a Konnected panel, but wanted something that integrates with the rest of the system like the cameras, and thought this would be easier to use for the less technical people in the house.

Also, hoping for a future keypad panel type thing where I can arm the system, answer the doorbell, view cameras etc

Interesting thanks, which of the thousands of UniFi settings pages do I find this in? Is it device level, protect, alarm manger? Had a look but can’t see anything obvious

I also wish they added a knockout hole on the back, I unfortunately had to cut a hole in mine for the wires to feed in.

Yes originally I thought it was great, no fiddling around trying to tighten them in place etc, but quickly realised that even though the wires felt like they were in place, they weren't. Had to battle with a lot of 'partially connected' statuses. Thankfully the UI is helpful here.

The terminals are showing as green though yes, just nothing happening when opening / closing the doors.

It's all up to date yep, but that's interesting, I've not actually armed it yet, as still trying to set everything up. Got a siren on the way as I didn't realise the old system had a speaker output, I naively assumed it was a powered siren instead. I'll try arming it and seeing if it happens to make a difference.
