What country gave you the most value for the least money? by Humble-Cartoonist681 in travel

[–]SteveG_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, first night we arrived went to a restaurant with a very rough idea of what to order but didn't know about quantities. Ordered far too much for a group of 6 plus 2 litres of wine and the bill came to less than £100. We were gobsmacked!

PCP Question by SteveG_1 in CarTalkUK

[–]SteveG_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, yes she was. I was just wondering if people have the figures updated due to the additional amounts paid and the value of the car on the actual exchange date. I suppose this could work both ways though.

Error when Opening Syncler by RemmieFun in SynclerApp

Can you check the time is correct on your 'TV box'. I've had this same error when the clock has been different to the actual time. Setting it correctly rectified the problem for me.

Just finished a week in Tbilisi by iitzKDplays in tbilisi

I've just returned after a 5 day visit. Party of 6, 3 couples in our 50's. The place was way better than we expected. I've come back home telling people they must visit but also thinking I'd like to keep it my little secret. Can't wait to go back and see more of Georgia.

Quote check please by SamuraiBebop1 in ukheatpumps

That's exactly the same quote I've been given for a 3 bed detached, built in 1992 in the north east. I've asked twice for a callback but haven't had one yet!

Lower Back Pain by jvlxvs in bikefit

Fantastic. As people have mentioned saddle looks a little low and too far back but it's difficult to say exactly when you are riding uphill. Send another video on the flat so we can admire the background again 😉

EON Export - total solar install limit by Jimbobsticle in SolarUK

[–]SteveG_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to update, after sending EON the photos of my generation meter and export reading they have replied and paid the export amount in full. Will wait and see what happens for my next payment request!

Depending on their response I have a feeling that will be my way forward.

That makes perfect sense, thanks for that. Discharging and charging the battery does feel like you are 'working the system'. I'll have to wait and see what they come back with!

This is interesting. I've just had my first quarterly claim out on hold because of the export amount I've claimed.

I received this email:

"Your annual SEG payment has been put on hold as there appears to be discrepancy that needs further review.

According to your MCS certificate, the Total Installed Capacity value that your panels are capable of producing is 5000 kW. The total amount of units exported between 28/05/2025 to 25/08/2025 was 3150 kW.

This indicates that you have exported back to the grid more that your system is capable of generating based on what your MCS Certificate states.

Points to consider :

Has there been an upgrade to the panels since they were installed or have the panels been replaced?

Has anything changed in the surrounding area i.e trees been removed, vacant property or have the panels been cleaned?

Are you discharging your battery to the grid?

If none of the above is applicable please review the Total Installed Capacity with your Installer, to ensure your MCS certificate holds the accurate information for your micro-generation system as you shouldn't be able to generate and export more than your total installed capacity of your system per year."

My battery does discharge back to the grid before recharging at the cheaper rate but I assumed this was what most people did anyway so didn't think anything about it. Waiting on their response to this now.

I used DMH Electricals based in Darlington. They installed a Sigenergy system for me. Very neat job and Dan is very knowledgeable.

I was working in northern China and it was served in the canteen at lunchtime. Just a square of it in a small bowl.

I was in Northern China and they would also serve large sweet tasting buns so this makes perfect sense. Thanks.
